4 employment gaps? So your mom was sick, well, sick, well, sick, well....
I hope you get the job, Clang. One more off the welfare dime.

Yup.
From one governmental pocket to another.
It's a Peter-Paul thing . . . without the religious implications.

Yeah pretty much. She was sick alot during junior high and high school years as well. I think having me and my 4 brothers so close together took alot out of her. She was pregnant and/or nursing for almost 5 years straight. Its part of the reason she never allowed us to go out for sports in high school, so I had to be content with extra-curriculars like drama club and band.
And thanks!

Well thats the downside of fully embracing the Catholic lifestyle and not using birth control.

I actually thought of that after I compared her to a horse.

Its ok. I'm just glad I never full adopted the Catholic lifestyle or I'd be hating on gays and have a serious case of the blue bals from not masturbating.

Clang, I'm suddenly faced with the vision of Newman from Seinfeld in my minds eye thinking about you being a mailman.
Just shut up. Just shut the fuck up right now.

Well don't. It looks like that dream may be dead. Interviewed on Friday and was told they'd let us know by Monday. Still no word either way.

It's the post office Clang, on time delivery of anything is completely optional.

Thats true. I shouldn't worry until I get a rejection letter/email from them. Putting it out of mind until then.

In this case, no news is NOT good news.

Clang, have you called to follow up. I always would call to follow up after an interview, especially when they gave a specific time frame.

No I did not.
Good advice. I'll call tommorrow and see what's up.

I usually did something like "I wanted to thank you for taking the time to interview me on Friday. I was just checking if any decisions have been made on the position." Good luck!
