I use crochet dish cloths on my countertops and tables, and toss out my dish washing sponge every day. Well la dee da....I wish I had new dish sponge every day money. Us common folk, rinse and reuse our sponges for days/months.
We reuse our sponges for a month or so. We sanitize it every day by putting it in the Microwave and nuke it for 2 minutes, not any longer. Some days twice in a day if sponge used a lot! Just (must) put on dish washing foam and make sponge wet before putting into nuker! Comes out like new for the next day.

I am so glad that you wipe yesterday's germs on tomorrow's dishes. Well sorry I'm not a germaphobe. I also use the same towel for 2 weeks to dry myself off after a shower.

I get the normal amount of sick. I think this year I got less sick because I got the flu shot and bundled up more during this winter. If things stay consistent, I'll probably get a dry throat and cough and some congestion at the start of spring.

I'm looking for a couple large tobacco baskets. Old would be good but I'll probably have to settle for reproductions.

Look on Craigs list in a state that grows tobacco like Virginia or something.

I found one, Maggottyboo! He wants $100 for it. I think it's worth it. As far as I can tell it's vintage and he describes it as that. It has a few broken slats but I'm okay with that. Character! The only downfall is that it's 4+ hours away.

Send one of your slaves to fetch it. That's what you bought them for.

Seems a bit steep to me, but what's $100 worth these days?

It's probably a bit steep for a lot of people. They would be turned off by the broken slats, many would look at like it's junk.

It looks rustic, which is nice. 50-60 years old, I'm guessing. You going to put anything in it?

I'm not going to get it, but if I were, I'd be hanging it on a wall above a pie safe.
