I saw the picture that Luke posted here and it appears that he's going undercover as Barry Gibb from the Bee Gees.

I'm sure some people would change the way they treat him, but I think most of us would just say 'meh'.
Most likely, he would just be well known in a certain circle of art collectors and we'd be like 'who the fuck?'
Doesn't matter. Luke is a nice addition to Mock, whoever he is or isn't.

I will say that it's historical in nature, and art from the Arts & Craft period of Europe...most directly from the artists own collections along with personal papers, letters, documents, and awards. I even have some of their tools and many of their conceptual drawings and designs as well as some of their utilitarian furniture. With exception of the actual art, most of the material has never been viewed before outside their immediate families.
I have been diligently cataloging, conserving, and digitally documenting all items over the past seven years and I am currently about a quarter of the way done...but this is primarily due to continual acquisition, although not at the pace of several years ago.

I collect comic books, I have about 4000 in storage, my more valuable items are kept in safety deposit boxes. I also collect superhero figurines, busts, dioramas, action figures, my attic is like a marvel superheroes theme park. I let my daughter and her friends play with most of the stuff, but I have quite a few numbered and limited edition items that I keep in locked display cabinets.
I don't collect stamps anymore, but I do have 4 albums I amassed as a teenager and my dad keeps them with his stamp albums in a safe.
I used to have a mass of skateboard parts and spares I used to use in my little skateboard fixing and customising business but I packed that in when I left home.

Yeah collecting comic books and customising skateboards = cool.
Polishing colonial coins = tiresome, lonely and sad.

Collecting coins is only lonely and sad if you're a British fag that doesn't understand it. What, do you go to skateboard parts celebrations with friends in Las Vegas, you dopey bitch? Whacking off to Spiderman #263 is a festivity?

My dad collects coins, especially gold Krugerands so I know exactly how demented and tragic coin collecting is, you go to Las Vegas to "celebrate" your little coins!?
Here are two things one million times cooler than a "coin celebration", a comic book convention and a skateboarding event, I'll remember how I'd much rather be at a "coin party" when Stan lee is signing my copy of Amazing Spiderman issue 2 and when I'm filming skateboarding teenagers who could already buy and sell your ass.
You sad little man, I'll bet you were sitting in your bedroom as a child with your collection while the big boys played outside on their skateboards.

Coin conventions are big stuff, homo. I happen to like comics, but shit, a grown man putting down coin collecting because his hobbies consist of hamsters, skateboard parts, and comics is ... well, it's just tragic.

I wonder how many attendees still live with their mommies?
Tragic man 1 - "This is a nice coin"
Tragic man 2 - "This is also a nice coin"
Tragic man 1 - "I like coins"
Tragic man 2 - "I like coins too".
