Hollywood and Cracker Barrel.

The thing about lots of young people becoming electors and having a Democrat bias is that the rest of us have aged, and as we age the bias tends to swing toward Republican. The overall balance by age hasn't changed as far as I can see.

What swings elections is events in the final two weeks, then week. It's the news cycle that determines Presidential elections. And adverts, of course.

Sorry for my rude question spot.

When you said you were confused about America's obssesion with Trump I was like, "Yeah! Me too!"

You brought up a lot of good points in your post. I don't have the energy to get into why I do not like Trump or regard him as someone not fit for office. I get why his supporters like him. And I admit, Biden isn't really fit either. I hope the democrats can pull together and get a good candidate and really I was hoping the Republicans would choose someone different than Trump. I am disappointed.

The only barrier between your Vice-President and a sparkling Presidential Election is the old man in the White House. He could choose the best time for her to step in, and then excuse himself on health grounds from running, that would work. KH has impressive assets. She's a full generation younger than DT and twice as sensible, and so far she's never actually killed anyone. She could construct a Democrat policy platform to attract most people who can put national bigotry behind them. The more DT then focuses his bile at her the more he'll distance himself from all the decent Americans, there ought to be enough of those to make a significant majority. It would leave just the Supreme Court out on a limb, and an impotent Base hunched over their beer cans.

I wonder what percentage of the American electorate understands and appreciates the difference between subjectivity and objectivity.

We have a Vice President? He or she obviously hasn't done anything.....interesting or important or worthy to grab my attention.

I'm curious to know why you believe that. Do you know something positive that I don't? I ask because he was beaten by 81 million votes last time and if anything his base has shrunk even further the past few years. Generally speaking, Independents aren't touching his bullshit with a 10 ft. pole and there has been a literal fuck ton of young people who have come of voting age since the last election. Given all of that you can see why I would be curious to know what makes you so sure of trump winning the next general election.

Yes Donny has lost some of his cult following in the past. But things are changing. And you presume the Independents (Of which I am one) are not buying his spiel. But as the outrageous socioeconomics climate as it is existing now, voters may look to Donny to MAGA. You can never tell what the future holds. Also, given your known loathing of Donny, you are blinded to the fact that Joey has lost considerable followers too, many of them even joking and making fun of him, so there's that too. Joey's own party doesn't want him to run, (said behind the scenes) but are afraid to state that publicly.
If Joey runs, many voters will not be voting for Donny, they will be voting against Joey. So, hopefully Joey won't run.

Partisan metrics -- left or right -- are notoriously subjective.

I know you're going to tell me that you're not a partisan but that's one of those things that no one wants to admit to, so save your breath.

I've already agreed that things are subjective, rothschild and I have no intention of saying I'm not partisan when it comes to politics today, why would I? Only a moron would want to be seen as a filthy republican. *spits*

Mockers, are you not seeing content in this thread that was there previously? I ask because spot thinks there is content missing from several posts and I want to see if any of you are experiencing that as well.

It might depend on where you live. It was the cheese I had in mind. A Cracker Barrel might be "an American chain of restaurant and gift stores with a Southern country theme". Cracker Barrel is "a registered trademark of Lactalis Heritage Dairy, Inc. It is not associated or affiliated with Cracker Barrel Old Country Store or CBOCS Properties, Inc." which I think means Kraft sold the name to a minor player in France which will be pilloried by all authentic French people if they ever discover it's a processed cheese product. Allegedly.

Talking of processed cheese product, is it safe to discuss Donald Trump on Mock or would I be out of order?

The only issue I had was with the quoted post above.  Half of spots answer is black/dark and really tiny.   I wasn't able to read it until I tried to reply.    It looks like they tried to do a copy/paste and the copy used the original font color and size.
