We have been on a 14 day heat streak.   (That is 14 days of 90 degree plus humidity), our local weather says we have one more round of storms today,  and then the humidity should drop.  I can't wait,  I am so over this bullshit and I hate sweating!

It's hot, it's so fucking hot. The only thing I dislike more than that right now is the fact that I'm complaining about it. There has been a day here & there that was really nice, but in general, Summer on the East Coast sucks ass.

Agreed. It's either fucking hotter than Hell or raining super heavy. Or both. Maybe in the Fall it will be nice enough to get dressed up in my lady clothes and makeup again. A few weeks ago, I was outside late at night dressed in my lady clothes and makeup when I thought it would be cooler. Nope I came in about 5 minutes later. Spent an hour or two getting ready. What a waste.

Thanks.  It helped also that there was no one around. I think it's supposed to cool off a little later tonight. If so, I "might" try again. I also wish I had taken a selfie. In my opinion it was my best makeup job yet. My first time using these egg shaped makeup sponges really helped apply my foundation better.

Hot?  Hot?  Tomorrow will be the first day, since I left Williams, that it won't be over 110.

Six days of over 114.  

Now, I'm leaving for Phoenix (from Yuma) and renting an Air BnB for three weeks (at least I got summer rates) as my childhood friend will be undergoing two valve replacements on Wednesday.

Congenital condition.  My house has stairs . . . and that ain't gonna work for her.

The whole Covid bullshit we were fed, for two years, postponed doctors appointments and the surgery that would have allowed a minimally invasive procedure to correct her aortic valve.  

But . . . because of the lies, fear mongering, deception and delays from Covid . . . her condition put stress on the mitral valve and now it looks like she'll be the proud owner of a pacemaker, to boot.

So  . . . now it's chest cracking time with the heart-lung machine inserted through the femoral artery.  It's an all day affair Wednesday.

I'm starting to think summers and friends with life threatening ailments are my destiny (or calling).
