You call being socially liberal forcing covid vaccines on people or lose their jobs for example. All because the media brainwashed you into it. Being socially liberal has a whole new meaning in this age, it's called brainwashed retardation.

Brainwashed retards are like RFK, Jr who is anti vax to the extreme. R ur kids vaccinated for the usual stuff? I think people have short memories where Covid is concerned. I remember watching the fucking ticker tape of hospitalizations and deaths (around 1.2 million +/- in the U.S. alone) the god damn isolation mandates, the business closures…it was a hot, fucking mess. When the vaccine mandates were first initiated we were still in the thick of it (and I, for one, would have taken a bath in rubbing alcohol and razor blades to help bring it to an end—provided others were willing to do the same). So FUCK YEAH on the mandates. I wanted everyone to get theirs so we could get to some place (more quickly) where we had some herd immunity. LATER, the virus mutated and became less lethal and actually the vaccines duh…worked. Infection and death rates dropped, businesses started reopening, mask mandates were lifted and TA DUM!! So were vaccine mandates. I got the first two and haven’t gotten any boosters but I was pissed as shit at the people who were refusing vaccines cuz it was slowing down my rights to get back to some level of normalcy.

California can be too socially liberal (Newsom has recently been making probably strategic political moves more towards the center). Our laws regarding retail theft were way too lenient (those are changing) and the way we have (or haven’t) handled homeless encampments have been stupid IMO (also changing). But, we support a woman’s right to choose, we’re not banning books all over the place and we don’t have a governor that’s an election denier who sucks up to a former president who has insulted him on many occasions (De Sanctimonious).

Fuck Florida. You weirdos are chasing away FEMA workers/help with ur weird paranoia.

Would you explain how herd immunity can be achieved through vaccination?

No cuz I’m not an infectious disease specialist. But common sense says the fewer people that get sick from a respiratory virus, the fewer people they can or will infect with or spread it to.

Herd immunity might have been the wrong term but I *think* ur smart enough to understand the point I was trying to make. Or ur stupid and I’m giving u too much credit.

“How strong is the US economy today compared to other countries?
On a per-person basis, American economic output is now about 40% higher than in western Europe and Canada, and 60% higher than in Japan—roughly twice as large as the gaps between them in 1990. Average wages in America's poorest state, Mississippi, are higher than the averages in Britain, Canada and Germany”.

And Trump’s tariff ideas wouldn’t just raise prices for imported goods (which is like EVERYTHING from China)? :eyeroll:

If you're going to compare wages you have to take into consideration the cost of living in each nation, the employment rate, etc.

As for economic output, the war against Russia has devastated Western Europe's access to energy. The economic sanctions backfired in a very big way.

You also have to take into consideration the amount of debt each nation is carrying, and the fact that gov't reporting is unreliable. How many trillions of dollars has the Pentagon failed to account for? Why isn't the Federal Reserve audited? When a gov't can't be bothered to do proper auditing, nothing it reports should be taken at face value.

Herd immunity is related to natural immunity. When a certain percentage of a population has natural immunity to a pathogen it will no longer be able to sustain itself. That percentage is somewhere in the vicinity of 60%, I believe.

If a vaccine prevents infection/transmission, there will be no herd immunity because the immunity is artificial. If a vaccine doesn't prevent infection/transmission, it isn't because an insufficient percentage of the population was vaccinated, it's because the vaccine is ineffective.

W/out googling it, I think the unemployment rate in the U.S. is good/low. As far as cost of living, FFS, it would cost me a lot less to live in Mississippi or other countries than it does in California but that doesn’t mean I’d want to move or live there.

I could buy a god damn town (on the beach) in Mexico probably but…no thank u.

Dumb.

If a lot fewer people are getting hospitalized and dying, who cares? Tell me (cuz I’m too lazy to look it up) what polio rates would be like w/out vaccines? And how many people each year are benefited by flu and pneumonia vaccines? And shingles?

And for a brief change try (for once) NOT to be obtuse and pick apart infectious vs. non infectious illnesses and just answer the question instead of picking the ant shit out of the pepper please.

Ya’ know, a long, long time ago I was an HR director and was responsible for hiring for a couple companies. RC, i’d interview people that were sometimes highly intelligent, highly educated and/or book smart but I’d pass on hiring them because they oftentimes had the EQ or common sense of a shrimp. It always disturbed me; people that seemed so smart and yet lacked any self awareness or opinions that they didn’t read or outside of their own experience.

Fast forward I was thinking about u because ur so god damn anal and rarely say what YOU think (much less, *gasp*) what u feel and suddenly a much more current, trendy possibility came to mind: that asshat is using fucking AI, chatbot or whatever to whip out his very boring but somewhat fact filled replies (to the degree AI is accurate yet (which I understand it’s not entirely). I’ve never used it but reading ur posts…it’s the first time I’ve felt like I’m getting responses from a robot.

Shame on u.

Love, Commando Cunt Queen.

You should be picking this shit apart. If you think corporate media spew is based on scientific methodology you have the intelligence of a diaper-clad Trumper.

Human beings don't know enough to not piss and shit in their drinking water. We're the most ignorant creatures on this planet. The only predators we have to worry about are ourselves.

IQ is a very good indicator for where a person is likely to end up on the socio-economic ladder, but it does not correlate with ethics and morality. Couple that with the fact that it's far easier to be evil than it is to be good and it shouldn't be very hard to identify who the apex predators are likely to be. And I'm not talking about the average billionaire. The people in the top 25% of the 1%.

Think about that the next time you're digesting your daily media spew. The people that own those companies are the same people that lied to us about plastic recycling. The same people who've poisoned the planet with forever chemicals and dioxins. The same people that profit from war.
