Nah. I had some sweet potato casserole, some stuffin', a bunch of veggies dipped in ranch, a piece of pecan pie that gave me terrible heartburn. I was like WTF. I can count on one hand the number of times I've had heartburn in my life.

Heartburn, my nemesis. Curse my old age and love of spicy food.

I ate too much turkey. I'm mostly vegetarian but that turkey was calling out to me.

Tryptopain. I was sick last night for all the food. I cooked a really good turkey but the gravy I made?  Wisely my husband didn’t complain but it just wasn’t good. I’ve never mastered gravy and it’s not rocket science. I think last night’s fail was (in part) because I followed a recipe that included using some white wine to deglaze the roasting pan. I don’t think white wine belongs anywhere in turkey gravy. I should have only used turkey or chicken broth.

Oh no.
What happened. Do I even want to go back and look? Clang-don't bother answering! I know it was you! You Poo!

I survived Thanksgiving. Too long and too many details to go into detail and bore anyone else with fucking family drama.

I was planning on staying away for Christmas, but no, they insist I return! INSIST

I have not mastered gravy yet. Or sauces where one needs to have the perfect temp and stiring speed etc etc

I ate way too much. And had no shame when they told people to take left overs-they were traveling the next day and couldn't keep any of it in the fridge. I helped them out with that! Smiley_emoticons_biggrin
Had some tasty sweet potato mash and a squash you would have loved Rothschild. It was amazing!

I've "mastered" "gravy". Both brown and white.  Awink 39

Sorry. I'll go fuck off now.
