no, as i said (post 6) the mom did NOT get him back.
The boy and his 1-year-old sister have been taken into protective custody of the Los Angeles County Department of Children and Family Services, officials said.
DCFS had been investigating the mother, identified as Kristin Altamirano, of West Covina, since September, they said.
