You have to realise that a person cannot make a sweeping statement like a bow in the hair or pink toenails won't make a boy gay, because it's possible that it could cause very conflicting gender roles do you get it?

I think after a certain age, a boy who WANTS to wear a bow in his hair is already testing the waters of his sexual orientation or gender. The simple fact that he wants to do that is indicative--the bow didn't make him do it.
