My mistake.

I didn't realize the EPA has GLOBAL authority and regulatory powers.

BTW - How's the "Cap and Trade" doing on the home front? That was Obama's environmental push during his election bid.

I can't remember how many jobs it's created, how many homes have been saved and how much it's contributed to deficit reduction.

I wish the EPA had global authority.

Damn, I make one comment about the democrats and the housing bubble and and another post turns in to us vs. them.

As far as cap and trades goes, I see it as an effort to reduce emissions. Obama sold it as a "job creator"...meh, hasn't happened but I still support a push for green energy. While for many people it's all about jobs and the economy right now, the environment is still important to me (at the risk of some job loss). I pulled up this random piece from the epa website:
