I can't remember how many jobs it's created, how many homes have been saved and how much it's contributed to deficit reduction.

As far as cap and trades goes, I see it as an effort to reduce emissions. Obama sold it as a "job creator"...meh, hasn't happened but I still support a push for green energy. While for many people it's all about jobs and the economy right now, the environment is still important to me (at the risk of some job loss). I pulled up this random piece from the epa website:
