Liquid Wrote:Does Halloween have any meaning to you, other then the traditional stuff? That is pretty dynamic Liquid and I would love to discuss this with you if you so desire. I have a few things to offer you that may (or may not) bring you some different views or greater angles on your dark time.
Halloween has 2 meanings to me.
The first one is newer and revolves around fun with my son and the costumes, candy and everything that goes with seeing him excited on this day. There are few things like his excitement.
The second meaning is more internal, personal and intense. I have always (like as far back as I can remember) felt like a person with underlying negative thinking that dominates my internal thinking. Every day I feel that way. It is all inside and hidden behind the public me that goes to work and interacts each day with others. Halloween each year makes my darker thoughts somewhat louder in my head. Not like I will go out and kill or anything like that, but it is a "dark" time and day for me. Some people get depressed around the holidays like Christmas. For me it is Halloween and it is hard to explain. I just see the world more negatively around this time each year. Maybe it is the weather getting colder or something other then Halloween, but it always seems strong at this time.
Dark is power as well as the light but it is in the Dark that most things reveal.
