You say he was handed a bag of shit for an economy, you have then been given the information that when he went ti India he spent millions of dollars and extravagantly took 3000 people with him, how can both be true?


He either was given a strapped economy or he he was given an economy that was sufficiently working to enable him to spend like that?

No, I'm not. Your head is up your ass, Dickie. You haven't addressed whether the India trip was "business" or pleasure nor have you acknowledged that he might have generated business for the U.S. while he was there.

Obama WASN'T handed something that was working. Most sane people realize that. The housing bubble had blown and many economists were predicting the next great depression. They might have overstated it (or not) but there's no way you can say Obama was handed a "good" economy. At minimum, we were heading in to a recesssion, the housing bubble had burst, banks were going belly up (or if they were lucky, getting bailed out). It was not by any stretch of the imagination a good time to take over the presidency.
