The "private school" is probably a "day care center". Since she is 5, she might have missed to cut off date to enter kindergarten.
Also notice that the mom left Jahessye and other siblings under the care of a 13 year old sibling. How many children are there?
She is adorable, I hope she is found soon. Something just doesn't feel right about the whole story.
