Cracker, have you seen the movie "The Help"? i just ordered it and thought of you. about the lives of black women domestics in the South a generation ago.
my Mom had a black lady who was a housekeeper and sometime sitter when i was very young. her name was Libby, and i liked her a lot. she got in trouble with my Mom for letting me try snuff
and watch a horror movie that gave me nightmares for about a year. that's all i can remember about her.
