The criminal contempt charge now goes to DC U.S. Attorney Ronald Machen. He was appointed by Obama and will be the one who decides whether to file charges against Holder. The majority of legal analysts don't think he will take any action.
Meanwhile, some democrats walked out of the proceedings in protest and insist this is a politically charged witch hunt.
