LE needs to utilize phones, pagers and radios for essential communications. it's not a matter of being a privileged character.

Must be those superlative driving skill that make it safe for cops to talk on the phone while driving. You are talking about while driving right?

not only that, but driving at 120 mph!
we did have driving techniques in academy, and every year for in-service.
i couldn't shuffle-steer to save my ass. but i could go very fast and stop on a dime and never run over the instructor! that's always a plus.

yes we had pagers.
we couldn't duck the Lt. if we tried. hahaha
