Look at what I paid to the State of AZ in taxes this year and you'd understand.

I'm my own PrePaid Legal franchise.

I think it's awful when tax dollars are spent in this fashion. It drives me absolutely bonkers.

I staunchly support every defendant's right to a fair trial, but some cases like Arias's really exceed the bar for "fair" and reach "outta control" status, even for a Death Penalty case (imo).

It cost California tax payers $9 million to prosecute OJ Simpson, and he had his own privately-paid-for "dream team". That's the amount spent by the LA District Attorney's office for 9 months of trial, including costs for sequestering the jury. Nuts.
