I have to disagree with this. My brothers all carried knives, usually a buck knife so did all their friends and they were the same age if not younger than this kid. I don't think a kid who carries a knife should automatically be labeled a bad kid. I understand that many kids are coddled these days & a lot of parents would have a shit fit if their kid carried one.
Question - do you come from a family of hunters? Because that is common for hunters. And NOWADAYS is so different compared to when I went to school, carrying a knife is MORE serious then it use to be. (mind you I am in my early thirties)
In this day, I would consider it more serious then when I was in school. But again this is just my opinion.
