Outside of random thugs/outlaws the average gun owner here are trained in the proper use of weapons.[/i][/size]

They may be trained in how to technically operate them but they are not trained to use them in situations like this.

That's what the police and SWAT teams are for they ARE trained in how to use firearms in a situation like this civilians aren't. Going to the gun range is no substitute for the training professionals receive.

For every person that's says having more armed civilians around during this incident would have made the situation better I argue that it also could have made the situation worse. Too many gun owners in the US think they are fucking Dirty Harry just like George Zimmerman.

So if you had a gun......hahahaha I'm sorry, let me compose myself.....and you were watching this guy shoot people it would be better to let him continue shooting? Or would you duck behind the nearest baby carriage.
