^ Wish the proceedings and docs weren't sealed; I'd like to hear exactly what both brothers claim went down that day (other than little brother swearing that big brother was not involved).
Maybe Autumn's parents saw the writing on the wall early on, in terms of what could be proven, and that's why they filed suit against the Gloucester LE - to get the case transferred to another office hoping for different charges. If that was their mission, the transfer didn't seem to help.
If the older brother wasn't home at the time (as verified by witnesses and/or surveillance) and he's not the one who invited Autumn to the house, it would be hard to viably charge him beyond accessory after the fact or obstruction - regardless of who was handling the prosecution. I don't know that to be the case, just speculating on how the state's hands could be tied.
I'm glad that the younger brother will be incarcerated until he's at least 30, but wish it were longer.
