WE WANT OUR TAX REFUND - NOW!!!
On Friday, a man got into an argument with a tax preparer because a woman accompanying him wasn't able to get a cash tax refund at City Tax Service in Detroit.
He beat the tax preparer and shot a security guard and two women who were in the office - all of whom were rushed to the hospital on Friday. The man fled but a witness told police where he ran and he was apprehended right away. The woman turned herself in to police a short time later.
One of the victims was reported in critical condition and police speculated the others had serious injuries. Haven't found any updates on their conditions in media reports today.
The Wayne County prosecutor's office says 19-year-old Xzavier Mazyck (ZAYV'-yur MA'-zik) was the shooter. He was arraigned today, and a Detroit District Court judge ordered him held on a $250,000 bond. Mazyck's probable cause hearing is scheduled March 14.
