Their father, their own father. This is so awful.
Three Wenatchee girls missing since Friday were found dead Monday in a campground outside of Leavenworth in the Okanogan-Wenatchee National Forest.
Authorities held a search and rescue for Monday evening to Rock Island campground near Icicle Road in Leavenworth Olivia, 5, Evelyn, 8, and Paityn, 9, who were reported missing after their father, Travis Decker, 32, failed to return the girls to their mother following a scheduled visitation Friday.
Decker picked up the girls around 5 p.m. May 30 in Wenatchee and reportedly did not share where he planned to take them, according to a news release from the Wenatchee Police Department. The four were last seen traveling in a white 2017 GMC Sierra which was found unoccupied near the Rock Island campground.
About 3:45 p.m. Monday, a deputy Decker's pickup near the Rock Island Campground off of Icicle Road. Authorities responded and searched the campground during which they discovered the bodies of the three missing girls.
The cause of the deaths was not immediately available. Decker was not located.
The Washington State Patrol posted online around 8 p.m. that the missing person alert was canceled.
Decker is wanted on three counts of first-degree murder and first-degree kidnapping. He was charged Monday in Chelan County Superior Court with three counts of first-degree custodial interference.
Decker is a former member of the military with extensive training, according to the release. It’s unclear if he is currently armed, but authorities say he could pose a serious risk if approached.

The missing person alert was cancelled last night and everyone was talking about the police presence just outside of Leavenworth. We didn't hear until this morning that the 3 girls were found dead.
Some are saying he could end up on the trail in this direction, but it would be a long shot. I dare him to come to this area.

Very sad.
Does anyone want to know what my small community Pastor's wife said? She commented on how the town these girls died in didn't want a cross on the hill side and this is why it happened. They weren't even from that town. Thier father took them there.

I read this morning that the mother (divorced) reported them missing a little over an hour after they were due back from a weekend with their father. She was particularly concerned because the father has been struggling with mental health and she thought he likely wasn’t taking medication as prescribed.
WTF? I’m so glad I didn’t have kids with my first husband, I’ve never had to deal with custody issues or any of that. I get that she likely had to allow these visitations or whatever but when you suspect your ex might be particularly unwell…HOW do you allow the visit? Can’t imagine.

If it was court-ordered visitation she'd probably be subject to arrest if she refused, which might reopen the issue of custody.

I know and how fucked up must it be to be in that position. Sending the kids off just hoping something doesn’t go wrong with this horrific result.

I'd want to punch her right in her fat, stupid face. Sonofabitch! I wouldn't of course but boy do I want to.

And apparently God hated those 3 little girls too.
Who would want to believe in a god like that?
I CAN’T STAND when a survivor of some disaster thanks their God for saving them. Ergo, your same God killed everyone else? Loved you mostest? Makes me sick.

Three girls believed to have been killed by their father were found zip-tied and with plastic bags over their heads in a remote part of Washington state, according to court documents obtained Wednesday.
A preliminary examination concluded that the girls, ages 5, 8 and 9, likely died by asphyxiation, according to an affidavit in support of an arrest warrant for their father, Travis Decker.
A full autopsy is expected to be released Thursday, Chelan County Sheriff Mike Morrison said at a Wednesday evening news conference, noting that the girls are a "motivating force for us" in the search for Decker.
Decker, 32, is wanted on charges of first-degree murder and kidnapping. The U.S. Marshals Service on Wednesday announced a $20,000 reward for information leading to his capture.
The military veteran is not known to be armed but should be considered dangerous, officials said. Morrison said detectives learned from speaking to Decker's family that he is well-versed in outdoor survival and would sometimes go "off-grid" for months without returning. Decker “was an outdoorsman since he was a kid,” Morrison said, adding that outdoor survival is something he does recreationally.
