So . . . killing Christians is now considered a "Hate Crime"?

If someone is criminally violated and/or killed because of their specific religion (any religion), the perpetrator could face federal hate crime charges.

In this case, since Cross allegedly thought that the kid and his grandpa were Jewish -- and that's the reason that he killed them -- I think he could still be charged and possibly convicted of a hate crime given his motive.
