I think Bernie Sanders played his cards well, though he sure got under the skin of a lot of Democratic politicians.
He is expected to endorse Hillary Clinton at a rally in New Hampshire on Tuesday. I think it'll happen this time.
Clinton has adjusted her platform to be closer to Sanders' on the following issues:
1. Public option within the Affordable Health Care Act (allows citizens to choose governmental insurance which will compete with private insurance and aims to lower the premiums for all).
2. Budget increase for free clinics (such clinics are also largely supported by Republicans, unless the clinics offer private-pay abortion services).
3. Tuition-free in-state public college for those who meet the eligibility requirements in families making less than $125k a year.
Clinton needs Sanders' millions of Independent supporters and Trump has unsuccessfully tried to woo them.
In May, 20% of Sanders' supporter indicated they'd vote for Trump if Bernie didn't get the nomination. By end of June, that number had fallen to 8% as more Sanders' supporters rejected Trump and moved towards Clinton. https://www.washingtonpost.com/news/the-...o-clinton/
