I very much hope Gia is safe, but it doesn't seem very likely given that her purse was found in her out-of-gas vehicle and there's no trace of her cell phone.
Hopefully someone will come forward with a witness account or dash cam from the road to help point law enforcement in the right direction.
Oddly, this is not the first tragedy to befall an 18 year old member of the Fuda family.
In April 2004, Gia's 18 year old sister, Kali, was killed after she was hit by an Amtrak passenger train while crossing railroad tracks in Seattle (Gia would have been 2 years old at the time). https://www.legacy.com/obituaries/seattl...id=2176615
