because racism isn't the problem in America. Children with no adult supervision, politicians trying social experiments on a vast scale, amoral behavior being touted as normal and a general lack of respect are the problems, we really face.
do racists exist? yes, but they are a very small part of the population.
fixing the problem is easy, reinforce the nuclear family, put God back in schools, enforce equal justice and teach founding principles to the kids. take away the profit from the race baiters and viola.
You're correct that racism isn't "the problem" in America, but it is a serious problem. And so is victim psychology and tribalism, which critical race theory promotes.
Just because some of us have done OK for ourselves doesn't mean that the only problem is some people don't try hard enough. It's a bit more complex than that. What the hell do you think welfare was intended to do, encourage independence and entrepreneurialism?
