Every single time I see or hear that word I have a memory of one of my brothers and his friends laughing about a girl who could fit an 8-track into her mouth. I didn't understand the significance of their laughter and other things they said until I was older. These are the same guys who would pay me to scram. I was always lurking. Boys were waaaay more fun than girls. I wanted to hang out with them.
