Me, too . . . of which I was thankful.
As of five weeks ago, I moved in with Maqui (my friend who suffered the stroke), as her husband's father not only has Parkinson's, but suffered a stroke 10 days after hers.
He's been with him ever since.
With four dogs (who are notoriously agitated by loud noises), it was a small blessing for the both of us.
A Caucasian Shepard is one tough, strong big ol' boy to casually comfort and restrain!
(Side note: He did enjoy the Benadryl spiked steak pieces . . . and he slept soundly at the foot of my bed, throughout the night! Small blessings.)
