I thought I had the biggest fish to win the pool but some smuck caught a Pollock that was bigger than my Haddock. Mine was bigger round and I should have weighed it. 15 lbs of cusk and Haddock was good, it paid for the trip.

A couple people caught some 2-3 pounders , nothing like the Alaskan one pictured.

I found a rockfish in a parking lot recently, I even posted about it. I sometimes hear them referred to as striped bass too. There are rules about them here but I can't recall exactly what they are, I don't fish.
