Murdering piece of shit Dale Cregan was today sentenced to a whole life term and will never be released for 4 murders including 2 female police officers.

Cregan and accomplices first murdered Mark Short after a long family feud and later they murdered Marks father David in a gun and grenade attack.

Last year he phoned the police and reported a false attempted burglary at his friends home giving a false name, PCs Fiona Bone and Nicola Hughes were dispatched to investigate. Cregan was waiting and shot them both with a modified pistol with a custom made larger magazine, as they lay dying he threw a grenade at them.

He later handed himself into his local police station saying he had “done two coppers” he was later said to have commented “I wish they hadn't been women”.

He was given a whole life term without parole his two accomplices in the Short murders were each given 33 years.

He said he had a vendetta against the police because he accused them of constantly harrassing his family. He would of shot and killed any cops that showed up in response to his bogus 999 call he said he hoped more than a couple would show up at the address he called from.

This was premeditated, the previous night he celebrated with beer and cigars in a last hurrah as it were.
