I agree with most of what the Donald said! He may have (did) say it in an offensive manner to some, (that's his persona) but he said what needed to be said. He is a blowhard, but in the long run, I believe if he did become the POTUS, his aggressiveness and staunch beliefs would make this country strong again!
However, I believe the media, and his enemies, (which are many) will not allow him to even have a chance to win!

Trump is all about hyperbole. But when it comes down to business, there's pretty good evidence that he doesn't conduct himself that way at all.

The Patriot Act & the 2016 Presidential Race
Both Rand Paul (^left) and Chris Christie (^right) are using the Patriot Act as a key platform issue.
Paul (Republican Senator, Kentucky) wants it repealed (ref post 178 upthread). Christie (Republican Governor, NJ) wants it preserved.
The provision of the Patriot Act which allowed the NSA to monitor US citizens' phone records was allowed to expire recently, with 2016 GOP candidate Rand Paul leading the efforts to do away with it all together.
A few days later, a bill was passed allowing the data to continue being collected, but remanded back to the phone companies. If the NSA wants to view it, they need a warrant (they need to establish probable cause before a judge).
While Congress was debating how to move forward legislatively, Christie attacked Paul and other lawmakers in support of revisions and said the future of the law was being decided by 'people who have no experience dealing with what I've dealt with.'
'I'm the only person in this national conversation at the moment who has used the Patriot Act, signed off on it, and convicted terrorists because of it,' Christie said before announcing his formal candidacy.
Christie said 'these same folks who are criticizing this now will be the same people who will stand on Capitol Hill if there is another attack of America and interrogate a CIA director, an FBI director, and ask them why they didn't connect the dots and not realize the hypocrisy of their actions.'
'The first job of the President of the United States is to protect the homeland, and that's what we need to do,' Christie told attendees of the Southern Republican Leadership Conference.
I'd like to hear what all of the other candidates have to say about the Patriot Act's future. It's a divisive issue alright. No one wants the govt spying, by law, on its own people. But, no one wants innocent civilians being blown to bits either, which it's feared, by some, could be the result if the NSA's domestic terrorism surveillance reach is too narrowed.

I agree with Trump.
Screw his personality . . . con men are notoriously charming.
As an aside . . .
When Regan granted "amnesty", the Hispanic vote flocked to the GOP.
Now . . . deserters. Fickle beaners!
I respect a candidate who doesn't pander.

I don't believe that Hillary will be able to get as much of the Hispanic vote as Obama was able to snag, mostly because there are a couple of 2016 Republican candidates like Jeb Bush and Marco Rubio who are more attractive to Hispanic voters than recent GOP hopefuls.
Personally, I don't think Trump is electable, though he's scoring high in the polls as of late. I just don't think he'd be able to overcome the public image he's crafted for himself over the last couple of decades, including all the petty feuding with celebrities and such.
Then again, Reagan got elected as president. Schwarzenegger got elected as governor. Franken got elected as senator. So, I could well be wrong.

Nor do I.

Yeah, he's got irreverence and pomp down.
I'd still trade a huge part of the Walmart crowd for some hard working, peach picking illegal immigrants though. Lazy, fat whities won't pick the peaches and would just assume live off hand outs instead.

I get all giddy thinking that politicians sweat out elections. I would love to be the person that sends some of them off the rooftop during a close election. Having as many as possible in an election gets the questions out there and sometimes you can tell the bullshitters by their silence.

Here's a thought . . . stop the handouts.
Quit using illegals as slave/cheap labor.
Boycott peaches.

I watched Anderson interview Donald. He insists that not only will he get the wall built on the border but Mexico will pay for it.
He has a plan for ISIS too, he's going to take their wealth, he said he'll bomb the oil fields and then build a ring around them for the protection of the top five oil companies he'll bring in to rebuild them.
Donald is a trip to listen to.

I caught some of it.
He really is a trip.
"Listen, you're not a baby Anderson."
-- Donald's response when Anderson countered his claims that Mexicans are flooding across the border and creating a crime wave (it's a fact that Mexican immigration was down last year and the crime rate for immigrants is actually lower than crime rates in general).

Here's a thought...watch your prices for everything from peaches to apples to...all produce (not to mention car washes, gardening etc) sky rocket because fat whities won't do that work.
I'd be willing to pay more but yanking that cheap labor would have a big effect on the economy.

Yeah . . . tell that to the fast food workers in NYC.
Like I said . . . exploiting slave/cheap labor to fatten the wallets of today's plantation owners.
All under the guise of "helping the poor and unfortunate citizens of a corrupt country who are trying to better their lives".
Time to rescind child labor laws.
Only for whites . . . everyone knows black kids are lazier than whites.

The more I listen to him the more I can see where some people are going to find him very appealing. I sorta like his brashness and I'm not opposed to some of the things he has said. I laughed through some of that interview, he's so friggin' outrageous and I found that amusing. When confronted with actual facts, he blew them off.

If the public could see past the Donald's brassiness, (which mostly is a show for the camera's, and he loves playing to the camera's) he could be just what the US of A needs to bring back it's might. IMO, If he could see he had a possibility of winning, I believe he would become somewhat more reserved, and buckle down to realistically stating his policies.
It will be interesting to see if that will ever happen. Unfortunately, I think the media will put their spin on his shit, and make it stink.
