I'm interested in Fiorina and seeing how she handles herself. If she does as well as she did last time on the second stage, she might shake up the order a bit.
Rubio continues to sound pretty good, but he's just not catching on. It doesn't seem to matter how prepared or polished his answers are, he just can't get traction.
I think Ben Carson stands the most to lose if he isn't better prepared than last time. He finished last debate pretty strongly though, so maybe it was first time jitters.
It also would appear Donald could stand up there and act like he has Tourrettes Syndrome and it doesn't affect his standing.

I don't think he's capable of being the President of the United States. He's a circus act! You see his audiences? For the most part there is not one single person that he would socialize with. He can't relate to those people, not on any level. Of course that's just my opinion, I don't want to come off sounding like MS.
Are we the laughing stock of the whole world yet?

Donald Trump won't win, in my opinion.
It's not the popular vote that decides the President, it's the electoral college vote. The members of the electoral college can consider popular opinion, but they don't have to do so.
The founding fathers were clear in their purposes for establishing an electoral delegate voting system rather than a direct popular voting system (for presidential elections). They feared that too many citizens are not well-informed or can easily be suckered-in by showmanship and hype, therefore informed delegates representing the citizenry should be the deciders. I think Donald Trump is proving the founding fathers right.

I'm voting for him because of his guts. Fuck it, things could be worse. (there is still another year left and I could care less right now) Plenty to go around now..........plenty.

That's what my husband said. I can't see myself voting for that guy, but then again I don't vote.

What's with the stupid red cap he is wearing? Is that to cover a 'bad hair day'? He is so intoxicated by his own publicity, it is hilarious. In mental health we call it the 'manic' phase of bipolar.

You should vote for him, of course, if you want for whatever reasons you want.
I don't think you'll have the opportunity, but who knows?
Anyway, Rand Paul and Kasich are making the most sense, to me, so far in tonight's debate on foreign policy.

Interesting exchange going on right now between Rubio and Trump regarding foreign policy.

I've watched for a 1⁄2 hour now, and not heard from Fiorina once. I hope she got her time in earlier... Jake Tapper just cut her off too. Wow.

Meh, I like Rand Paul the best. Even though he doesn't have a very strong persona he seems the most intelligent. Fiorina comes across as a robot, Christie is a fat pig, Rubio is a mini Hitler, Jeb is just another good old boy like his brother, the black guy is nice enough but should stick to being a doctor, Cruz is a douchebag, Huckabee is a douchebag in disguise of a nice guy and Trump is... well just Trump. Who were the others?

I did like Trump's response to the " look at that face" comment. He sounded sincere even if he wasn't.

Kasich, the Ohio Governor and former Congressman. He and Rand Paul are the two who aren't adamant that the U.S. shouldn't even try to improve relations and deal with Iran. They both also promote working with allies in a leadership capacity, rather than dealing with other countries by dominating and through military force.
Kasich is the rational one when it comes to opposing Congress shutting down the government in protest of Planned Parenthood funding.
Paul is all for diplomatic attempts to resolve global conflicts before considering military action. He also wants the Fed to reclassify marijuana so it's not in Class 1 (most dangerous), and wants the Fed to stop interfering with states' rights in regards to medical and recreational marijuana laws. He opposes the war on drugs and its negative impact on inner cities. He feels mandatory jail time and mass incarcerations for non-violent offenses should be replaced with rehabilitative efforts for first offenders. I agree with him.
Scott Walker, Wisconsin governor, was also on stage. I didn't find his statements memorable.
I think Rubio did really well tonight - very informed and articulate. I think Fiorina did too - I find her sharp, assertive, and interesting. I don't like her isolationist foreign policy positions at all though; I wouldn't vote for her.
Donald Trump being set straight -- in the most passive way possible by Carson, about spreading false information in regards to vaccines correlating to autism -- was a kind of cool exchange. And, Jeb Bush commanding Trump to apologize to Bush's wife was a hilarious fail.

I can't get past how Donald treats people. He's crass & overbearing and as rude and obnoxious as anyone I've ever seen. I listen to him and I want to nail him right square in the balls.

I didn't see the entire debate and I just read about the Planned Parenthood topic. Apparently Chris Christie said that Hillary supports the systematic murder of children in the womb to preserve their body parts in a way that maximizes their sale for profit with Carly adding, "I dare Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama to watch these tapes. Watch a fully formed fetus on the table, its heart beating, its legs kicking, while someone says, 'We have to keep this alive to harvest its brain." The scene she described doesn't exist anywhere in videos.

I imagine HRC saying the same things as he does except not in a public forum. Candidly I imagine her the same as Trump. Possibly worse.

Politicians are afraid of pissing off one minority or another they tend to speak in riddles and dance around subjects that respectfully should be addressed point blank with an eye on the bullseye.
Trump does this with a painful wince from many people, but the truth hurts and getting a physical reaction from it makes me laugh. I really don't think he is a Dem shill as some conservatives seem to think. He is egotistical but so is Obama except Mr. Barry Sotero hides things better.
Trump is a contender.
