Presidential race 2016

I must have misunderstood. I was under the impression it was his job to speak for the others. Wrong?

Trump threw a hissy for being questioned by a moderator about public statements he made, Gunnar. He bullshitted about how that was unfair and those statements should have been off limits. So, he's not gonna debate because of that moderator, he claims -- that moderator who he now accuses of being obsessed with him. I don't believe Trump means much of what he says.

Palin used bullshit excuses for her son's violence against women and she will likely claim she was misunderstood (again). I don't believe she was misunderstood.

Both are looking to deflect by using veterans; I believe that the leader of the veterans' group means what he says, he's not having it. I think he has integrity, though he may catch flack for turning down the needed money.

But, yes Gunnar, you can make fun of what I believe, or what you claim I believe, as much as you want. No one has ever said otherwise. And, I can respond when I feel like it, however I want. You get it. Good job. 11

Why the hell are you not speaking to F2? Is this high school? For the love of Pete, this is Mock. We manage to insult one another all the time. No one takes it seriously. F2 and I used to rag on ea h other all the time and we're cool with each other.

O.K. Ramsey, you don't get it either. Do you really take the above statement, "I am not speaking to so and so," seriously......Do you really believe that I would say something like that IRL......Is this forum not called Mock.....I give up, some of you are a bunch of dummies.

This person also took something that was posted in a Members Only thread, and then made reference to it on a thread which non members could see.....Do you not know that is not done in present day society? Yes, I foolishly replied on same thread, but realized it too late. I need to stay off here or everyone in my past will track me down....Just a friendly reminder, do not take stuff posted on Members only post and refer to it on threads which non members can access.....

Unbelievable....now I understand why that are so many on here who lean way right.......Don't take everything you read so literally...not you specifically, but in general....jeez......

The only time he should turn his nose up at money to help the veterans in his group is if the are no veterans left to help.

P.S. I realize this is wrong forum for this dumb banter, so am sorry for that.

Where am I? Oh yeah, Presidential race, 2016....

I have always felt that this whole thing with Trump started out as a bluff, then it surprised even him, when people started supporting him, so he went along for the ride....I think even he, realizes, he is now in over his head.....what to do, what to do? Oh yeah, I'll blame that broad on Fox news... I think what Duchess read and discussed here is closer to the truth than not, i.e., not really having a platform, and he has been bluffing all this time and now his escape routes are limited so let's blame the bitch....I don't think he has time for geography lessons, to read a Miss Manners book, how to win friends, etc....I think something will happen before the GOP dismisses him from the Presidential race, if you get my drift......

I don't know any of the facts of this but isn't he representing a group of individuals who don't want to accept money from these politicians?

I feel like I missed something so I went back and reread what lead up to this and I'm not seeing anything. Are you saying you don't believe the leader of the Iraq & Afghanistan Veteran's group?

Rieckhoff is the founder and CEO of the group. If he think it harms veterans to be used as political pawns, he can turn down any potential donations he wants.

If he prefers to only take money from candidates he thinks have solid plans to benefit veterans if they're elected, it's his right.

I'm sure he knew he'd take some flack for stating that he wouldn't accept donations, if offered, under the circumstances. But, he's doing what he thinks is right and not being "PC". I don't believe he'll try to back peddle out of it because of the flack. We'll see.

P.s. the Wounded Warrior group is facing a lot of scrutiny for how they've spent donations right now; not sure if it's connected.

No, he represents veterans who need donations.

BG, I'm just trying to find out if he spoke for the veterans, if he was expressing THEIR wishes.

I totally agree with that.

Rieckhoff really didn't appreciate Trump's jab at John McCain's having been a POW.

He, like many vets, felt that jab was disrespectful to those who've served our country. Rieckhoff has worked with McCain in the past.

You can't help yourself from replying to me. What cracks me up is that it's usually over something I never said and something you don't know anything about...like the young man who asked hildabeast the question about her honesty.
Sooooo...whatever. I get a kick out of you and Aussie chastising me like I was raised by a couple of buffoons. You two are crazy enough to believe I talk to people in real life like I do on here.

Yeah, because Trump only likes people who don't get caught & taken prisoner. Goddamn I want to nail him with a brick.

I'm pretty sure that if you were to ask a veteran that needed funding for rehab and couldn't get it due to a lack of funds, he/she wouldn't feel as though he was expressing his/her wishes.

I don't like the dude either, but his money spends the same way mine and yours does.

I don't blame the veterans and veterans' groups who are snubbing Trump.

He's used the "I'll do a veterans' benefit" line a couple of times to make himself look good when he's doing something for his own benefit; something that could make him look bad in the eyes of many.

If I was the CEO or founder of a non-profit for veterans, I'd sure think twice about accepting donations which would potentially help a candidate I did not believe had respect, solid plans, and a true commitment to government programs for veterans to get elected. There is a lot more veterans' assistance and budget at stake than can be gotten from a last-minute PR fund-raiser (which, so far, AFAIK none of the major veterans' groups have even been informed about).

Trump has supported the Wounded Warrior Project in the past, but they say they haven't heard from him. The group is in hot water this week after a scathing report revealed that the charity spends much of its budget on lavish parties and team-building vacations for its staff instead of veterans. http://www.washingtontimes.com/news/2016...our-money/

Trump is a fool. And backed by legions of the angry and stupid, he may become a dangerous fool.
Thank god I am oblivious to the opinions of others while caught in the blinding splendor of my own cleverness.

It gives me pause to think of Donald Trump as the President of the United States when the man can't even handle dealing with a Moderator that he dislikes. A man who is as nasty & uncouth as he can be proclaims if people aren't going to be nice to him, he won't play, he'll take his marbles and go home and then demands an apology.

I don't know how that freak is able to push my bitch button the way he does. 52

I think he can handle dealing with her, he just doesn't feel the need to because she's an annoying pissant, a nobody, a stupid bitch... That's the feeling I got anyway. He has a god complex.

I understand he is running for Pres, and the candidates ARE the news these days. But I think the media is so intimidated by him that they do not know when to just stop giving the asswipe media coverage every damn time he says or does something stupid/ He may be a businessman, but he knows noting about running a county. Nothing about foreign policy, or anything he needs to know to be a leader.
