As if this election cycle wasn't crazy enough...
^ Michael Bloomberg has confirmed that he is seriously considering a presidential run.
Bloomberg is a media mogul and former NYC mayor. He's very conservative fiscally, and quite liberal when it comes to the environment and some social issues.
He is also the man behind Every Town USA, the gun safety/control advocacy organization looking to counter the NRA.
Bloomberg, whose wealth is about ten times that of Trump, would be running as an Independent and looking to spend about one billion USD to finance his campaign.
Bloomberg has until the end of March to throw his hat into the ring.

It looks like Sanders 17,000 Trump 8000 so far 10% of the vote is in and they are the clear frontrunners now.

Kasich seemed to have rallyied out of nowhere to come in 2nd. Bet that put Cruz and Rubio's panties in a bunch.

It was a big turnout as over 50% of the registered voters voted.

Hillary was saying she loved N.H. for a few days but when she left her face showed otherwise.

I'm really glad that Kasich did well in New Hampshire.
I think he's a highly qualified candidate with a better temperament than the other Republican candidates. Hopefully, Kasich will get more support and financial backing as result of his strong showing in NH -- he doesn't have the same level of PAC financial backing as Bush, Cruz and Rubio and his campaign was running out of gas before the NH primary.
I wish Kasich had gotten over 20% so that more of the Republican candidates were motivated to drop out though. With Cruz, Bush and Rubio so close in NH primary votes (clumped up below Trump and Kasich), I don't think we're gonna get down to two or three contenders (which I think would drive Trumps support percentage down) before the South Carolina primary.
Bush did better than I expected; he came in fourth in NH just a sliver behind Cruz. Beating Rubio was probably something his campaign considered a very good sign, they are competing for a lot of the same voters. Maybe Barbara Bush's campaigning was really effective for him in the state. I definitely think his strong debate performance this weekend helped him a lot.
I hope to see Christie, Fiorina and Carson drop out soon. I like Christie in many ways, but he came in sixth with around 7.5%, despite a lot of campaigning in the state. Kasich, Cruz and Bush really benefited from Christie's take down of Rubio at last weekend's debate; they owe him a few beers. That debate performance hurt Rubio a hell of a lot going into the NH primary.
Bernie clobbered Hillary in NH, no doubt. South Carolina historically loves the Clintons though. She really needs to trounce Bernie there and I bet her campaign is working night and day in SC to try to make it happen.

I saw Dr. Cornel West on Bill Maher a couple of weeks ago. I love listening to Dr. West, he's a cool orator. Here's the short clip of Dr. West disagreeing with Bill Maher on Bernie vs. Hillary.
Dr. West totally feels the Bern and has been supporting Bernie since last year. He is working hard to help the black community learn more about Sanders and get behind him.
Right now, Hillary Clinton has the vast majority of black and Latino voter support, according to polls. That will help her to take South Carolina unless Bernie can win them over.

This morning, Sanders met with Al Sharpton at Sylvia's in Harlem. Looks kinda like a scene from Seinfeld.
Sharpton has been a supporter of the Clintons for years. Let's see if that holds.

They're dropping like flies, Carly went home. I wonder if Bernie didn't screw up Hillary if she would be the only one running now for the donks.

Yeah, Carly Fiorina has called it a day. Chris Christie just announced that he too has folded.
I think Ben Carson is still in, though it's a little hard to tell with him. Yesterday, Carson did indicate to a Fox interviewer that he was open to serving as VP for someone with whom his views and philosophies align, which might include Trump. I don't think anyone will be selecting Carson as their VP, personally.
The next Democratic debate will be held tomorrow night Thursday, Feb. 11 at 9 pm EST in Milwaukee and will be hosted/streamed by PBS.
The next Republican debate takes place on Saturday, Feb. 13 in South Carolina and will be hosted by CBS. With only five candidates remaining/qualifying, I think it could be trouble for Trump unless he really ups his game in terms of solid display of knowledge and providing some details around how he would turn his promises into realities. Skipping the debate again doesn't seem like an option -- it would really hurt him (again), in my opinion.
The next primary takes place on Saturday, Feb. 20 in South Carolina.

Carly Fiorina's campaign is lying there on a table, its tiny legs still moving, while pundits discuss harvesting its brain.
