So far in tonight's primaries and caucuses, Trump and Clinton are smoking their competitors again.

Hillary got over 60% of the Arizona Democratic vote, so she'll get that percentage of the 78 Democratic delegates and Sanders will get the remainder. It's good to see a record number of voters turning out tonight for the Democrats (same for the Republicans).

Arizona is winner-take-all for the Republicans, so Trump snatched up the full 58 delegates.

Cruz is expected to win Utah tonight; Trump scores poorly with Mormons. If Cruz wins over 50% of the Republican vote, he'll take all 40 of the state's Republican delegates.

If Cruz doesn't get more than half the Utah Republican vote, delegates will be distributed proportionally.

If Kasich gets enough votes, he could prevent Cruz from reaching the 50% requirement for winner-take-all in Utah. Kasich got about 10% of the vote in Arizona.

Do y'all think family members are fair game when candidates are trashin' the opposition? I ask because I just read that Donald is threatening to "spill the beans" on Ted Cruz' wife. He's pissed because a super pac put out a commercial starring his wife in a very provocative pose. I fully expect him to do the same in regards to Bill & Hillary.

Cruz won all of Utah's delegates last night; Jeb Bush has just endorsed him.

It's surreal watching established Republicans line up behind Cruz, but I guess it makes sense if they consider any option better than Trump, Clinton or Sanders. I think Graham, and Romney, and Bush and all would probably rather get behind Kasich, but he's too far behind Trump and endorsements don't seem to carry as much weight with the public as they used to.

And, Bernie Sanders won in Utah and Idaho last night. He's still far behind in earned delegates, but staying in the game and putting his message out there. He's consistently earning more campaign donations than Clinton from month to month.

Do y'all think family members are fair game when candidates are trashin' the opposition? I ask because I just read that Donald is threatening to "spill the beans" on Ted Cruz' wife. He's pissed because a super pac put out a commercial starring his wife in a very provocative pose. I fully expect him to do the same in regards to Bill & Hillary.

I think since Hillary uses Bill's record often in her speeches and campaigning that he's fair play. She's going to have a hard time beating up Trump about his misogynist remarks, of which there are many, because of Bill's past behavior and the allegations against him. I hope she avoids that trap and just focuses on how she's going to advance women's issues.

The anti-Trump PAC's swipe at Trump's wife is different. I think it's low and was probably an attempt to sway evangelicals away from Trump.



I don't know if that ad succeeded in turning off any religious would-be Trump voters, but think it probably turned on some voters and Trump can make it work to his benefit.

If Trump really has any beans to spill about Cruz's wife in retaliation, I'd be surprised. We already know the woman married Ted Cruz anyway.

45 years has passed and the problems are the same, only those same problems are bigger problems now than they were then, and by today's standards this song would never get air play if it was just released because it isn't PC.

I agree that some of the problems today are the same in nature as 45 years ago, on a larger scale.

But, I don't agree at all about that song not being PC enough to get airplay these days.

Listen to the radio and tv -- rap and hip hop lyrics, hard rock lyrics, classic rock lyrics (including protest songs), talk radio/show topics and verbiage......much of it not what I think would qualify as "PC" to those who choose to use that term left and right with little discernment.

That song is actually very PC today and it's tame compared to what's on a lot of the airwaves now (and it still gets play on my local classic rock station).

They wouldn't play it with the words God Damned and fairies. That's a fact. They may play it with those words stricken, but not as it aired previously. Much the same way that the Who's who the fuck are you is stricken where previously it wasn't.

He was part of the 'make love, not war' movement. The opening verse refers to "dykes and fairies", not "god damned fairies".

Anyway, I've never heard any of Alvin's words be stricken or dubbed when the song is played on the radio today. But, yeah, I've heard the "fuck" scrubbed from Who the Fuck are You, way back when and sometimes still do.
