My very favorite quote out of all this very long, (seems like it's lasted years) election process is "I'm not going to pay for that fucking wall". Every single time I hear, read or think about it I laugh.

Eventually turning into a real politician, it will get down to be:
Wall, what wall? hah

This morning Trump and Clinton will each give speeches on National Security to veterans.

Trump said yesterday that if he's elected he'll direct the generals to submit, within 30 days, a detailed plan for how they're going to defeat ISIS. I guess he doesn't believe those same generals (whom he claimed knew less about ISIS than he does only a few months ago) have been submitting plans and strategies for the last several years and that it's a complex issue.

He also said that he would lift sequesters on defense budget, which is weird. Just a couple of years ago he said the U.S. government should dramatically cut defense spending.

There is not one issue that I can think of, except for the building of The Wall, that Trump hasn't flip-flopped on multiple times in a short time span.

Gary's got a new sales pitch....

^ I saw that the other day, it's pretty amusing.

I was really hoping Johnson would meet the debate criteria, but it's not gonna happen.

He'll still be on the ballot in all 50 states though and what he's accomplished in this election cycle could really help him if he chooses to run in 2020.

Early this morning I watched Gary Johnson ask "what is Aleppo?". *facepalm*

I feel bad for him, that was a deal breaker for a lot of voters, I think. But, his befuddled expression was hilarious. At least he didn't try to bullshit or deflect the question.

Meanwhile, Trump told the world that he can read body language and he could tell that the people who gave him a classified briefing on national security yesterday don't trust Obama and Clinton. He called the U.S. generals "rubble". He said that the U.S. should occupy some countries to essentially steal their oil. Etc...

I'd still vote for Johnson over Trump.

I'm surprised you knew what it was. The last time we talked about peppers you seemed clueless.

I so much respected him for doing an interview immediately after. It wasn't formal and it was planned but he stood there and talked to Mark and he owned his shit and I respect that.

Regardless of which political party you identify with, is it ever okay to say that Putin is a good leader, a strong leader, a better leader than Obama? I'm curious to know what regular people outside of politics think of this.

Obama is still a piss poor excuse for a President though.

hah I had just read your previous post and it made me smile to see that you were fair & reasonable even in light of your extreme dislike of Obama. It made me have faith in your judgement and that ^^^^^ made me laugh because even though you left it unsaid in the other post I knew you were thinking it.

As bad as Obama is, Putin is worse. There's nothing good about that man. I predict that will come to light in the next few years.

Putin is not a nice man, conversely, Hillary is not a nice woman, and the Donald is in a class of his own on his own planet! hah
