Of course there's that whole troubling lack of evidence of criminal wrongdoing and no conviction. Etc. But hey, as long as we're discarding the results of a very thorough and expensive due process in favor of dubiously sourced emails, let's just accuse her of all sorts of wacky shit! So...the FBI has concluded that Russia has worked to undermine our election but Director Comey thought it was too close to the election to say so publicly even though there is evidence to support that claim, instead, with no evidence whatsoever, he choose to release the fact Huma's emails are on Anthony's laptop but he doesn't know what they contain.

Whoa, whoa, whoa . . .

That info was released on or about 3 October.

Without the FBI's involvement, the Department of Homeland Security and the Office of the Director of National Intelligence issued an early October statement saying the "US intelligence community is confident that the Russian Government directed the recent compromises of emails from US persons and institutions, including from US political organizations ... These thefts and disclosures are intended to interfere with the US election process."

The former official said that Comey agreed with the conclusion that other prominent US intelligence sources came to.

"A foreign power was trying to undermine the election," the source said. "He believed it to be true, but was against putting it out before the election ... if it is said, it shouldn't come from the FBI, which as you'll recall it did not."

Homeland and ODNI's never expanded on or provided conclusions regarding the "intended to interfere with the US election process" statement.

However, the Clinton campaign readily, eagerly and by innuendo tied Trump to this hack and release. It was fearmongering . . . plain and simple.

I personally don't believe new "classified" emails will surface. In fact, I don't believe this is a direct attack on Hillary, by the FBI.

I believe this one is on Huma . . . a woman who DID participate in the classification briefing and HER failure to protect sensitive information.

She was granted immunity and stated she turned over all devices containing any potential sensitive info.

If this proves to be false AND she was appointed by Clinton to a ranking position, she could expose Hillary to a "High Crimes and Misdemeanors" impeachment proceeding.

Stupid and careless hired help!

At least Trump fired his bastards when the spotlight was on them . . . months before the government's release of "Russian influence".

It appears the FBI wasn't the lead investigative agency concerning the "Russian Hack". And "Yes" . . . it has also been reported that he agreed with the conclusion.

But they released the "Russian Hack" info in spite of his concern.

And not a word of protest from the WH or Loretta "How are the grandkids, Bill" Lynch.

Or the DNC.

I heard John McCain say that the Republicans wouldn't consider any Clinton nominee a few days ago. I like McCain alright most of the time, so that disappointed and surprised me a little coming from him. It's asinine.

Republican Senators have refused to consider Obama's reasonable nominee, Garland, for months on end -- leaving us with an even number of Justices and a crippled court.

If the Republican Senators continue to put their personal and party butthurt above doing their jobs according to the Constitution by refusing to consider a Clinton nominee too, I think the Senate will lose its Republican majority in a landslide (as it should be).
