DON'T TOUCH ME, NIGGER
#21
This is pretty much how our health care system works...

"A special interest group turns thumbs down on health care. In opposition are the HMO's, the insurance industry, and the medical establishment. How much moolah do you think they give the parties? Elected officials are well aware of what the public wants and puts on a show to convince the public that they are earnestly working for them. They set up committees and subcommittees; they hold hearings; they subpoena witnesses; they listen to all sides pro and con, the public and industry; they produce thousands of pages of reports; they confer, debate and compromise. And after all that noise, babble and hoopla they produce something that the generous industries are happy with and something that the media can convince a desperate, retarded public is the health care they should get or a crisis that is going to send America to hell in a hand basket -- not an overwhelmingly supported socialized program like Canada's. In the end the insurance companies and the elite still make out, poor people still get free health care and the middle class still gets fucked."

Right now, Health & Dental combined is $550/mo.

Whaaaaaat?? We get full top hospital, medical, dental, orthodontic blah blah for $200 month. If I wanted to wait in the public system, it's free.

Fuck I hope we don't follow the US down that path

As Sally noted above, there's way too much money to made bilking the middle class for the U.S. to change what's currently in place.

Cobra for me would have been $440 a month. I used to pay about $130 a month for medical for myself and dental and vision for me and the kids when I was working.

I don't even want to know how much my surgery cost. Two different hospitals and an ambulance in addition to the surgeon. Thank God they had me sign up for Medicaid while I was in the hospital. I hate that I had to do that though. I can't wait to move and get a job so I have coverage.

I'm for limited government in most cases, except health care. We should just follow with the rest of the civilized world already, put the goddamn insurance companies out of business.

I.ve not had insurance since 2003, I got laid off and the cobra package was $450/mo. For a guy that's healthy, doesn't smoke and doesn't spend $450 a year in medical expenses. Its no better now, same $

Right now we're paying taxes for everyone on welfare/ disability
right now we're paying taxes for illegal aliens healthcare
right now we're paying taxes for an epidemic of narcotic pain pill addictions
And to top it all off we have to pay outrageous premiums for our own health care. That somehow doesn't seem fair.

Right now universal health care looks pretty good to me.

Holy Shit!!! I can't imagine.

I pay $110 for both. I have great insurance.

It's discrimination no matter how you look at it. Saying you would prefer a female over a male carries less of a sting than stating you don't want a black caring for your needs while hospitalized. Our world is filled with those who don't give a rip about how uncouth that is. Racism is alive & well. I used to think it would go away as the older generations died off but I no longer see that happening.

I don't see how not wanting a female stranger to see/handle your cock is the same as not wanting a black person to touch you. Oh hang on a second! It isn't the fucking same in any way, shape or form!

Shyness and racism are NOT the same thing.

Bullshit. They both fit the very same definition of discrimination.

Discrimination - The unjust or prejudicial treatment of different categories of people or things, esp. on the grounds of race, age, or sex.

I'm glad to see all the Americans in this thread admitting that their private healthcare costs are obscene and the actual healthcare they get isn't worth anywhere near the money they pay for it.

In other forums at other times you would be surprised how many Americans defend to the death paying obscene amounts for crappy healthcare as being the absolute right thing to do. They've swallowed the corporate insurance company propoganda koolaid and are thirsty for more. “No socialised healthcare!”, morons.

It's ridiculous. I don't know of anywhere else in the world where health insurance (for a year) for 2 people costs more than some people actually make in a year.

You are talking directly out of your anus.

Prefering a male doctor/nurse to handle my junk instead of a female is NOT sexual discrimination.

Not wanting a nigger to touch me with their monkey paws IS racial discrimination.

Hey! I'm not trying to convince you otherwise, you're entitled to your opinion. All I did was show what defines discrimination. I don't care about choices other people make, that's their business, not mine.

Even if you were getting the best healthcare in the world (which you aren't) it still wouldn't be value for money. Michael Moore often pisses me off with his liberal bleeding heart holier than thou bullshit but in his film Sicko he conclusively proved Cubans get far better healthcare than Americans and its all socialised.

If Pablo from Havana is getting better healthcare than you and you are paying thousands of dollars and he isn't there is something seriously wrong somewhere.

Mine is a family plan.

If I were single it would be significantly less, however, there's still a $25 co-pay with nearly every visit, and I'm still on the hook for the first $3K out of pocket for something big.

Now, it's getting worse.

I pay $710 per month.

At those prices if I want a young, hot, green-eyed intern of any color or sex, that's what I'm gonna get.

Don't even think of sending me someone who looks a fucking primate.

Or someone reeking of curry.
