If Hannah was picked up from cheer leading practice and was immediately kidnapped, she wouldn't have had her cat with her (I'm assuming the cat wouldn't have gone to practice).

So, to have the cat she had to have been home. Would've had to have known what was happening to mom & bro.

The family dog had been shot. Wouldn't she have known that? And what about supposed torture? Would she have been present for that?

Now that the murderer is dead, it's really just Hannah's version of events.

Potentially a very chilling story here.

I hope it's just my imagination getting the better of me.

Drugs and/or Psychological Scars caused DiMaggio's Break?

Spanswick (good family friend of DiMaggio), an experienced mental health therapist in West Hollywood, said DiMaggio's sister, Lora Robinson, saw the bullet wounds before the body was cremated Tuesday. According to Spanswick, DiMaggio's sister is interested in seeing the gun that her brother had.

According to the coroner's office, a death certificate will not be issued until toxicology tests are released several weeks from now. The tests will determine if there were any drugs or alcohol in DiMaggio's system at the time of his death.

Spanswick said the toxicology reports may reveal some answers to Dimaggio's state of mind.

"He was homicidal and suicidal and we are trying to figure out if that was from a drug induced psychosis. We are also waiting on reports to see if he may have had methamphetamine in his system," Spanswick said.

Spanswick told 10News that he believed DiMaggio was planning to eventually kill Hannah Anderson, the cat that was with them and then himself.

"When people have a plan like this, they want to take possessions with him to the afterlife," Spanswick said.

Spanswick said he believes DiMaggio's dark family history may have played a role in the incident.

"His upbringing was incredibly bad. His mother died of cancer and his father was a meth addict. It was common for his father to drop Jim and his sister off in ghost towns with no people with a couple boxes of mac and cheese. Jim had to go out and fish to provide food for his sister. His father would take them to crack houses. He was incredibly physically and emotionally abusive with them," said Spanswick.

Additionally, Spanswick said Robinson looked like Hannah.

Her Ask.fm account was disabled as of early Wednesday morning, but 10News learned her Instagram page remained active as of Wednesday afternoon.

Spanswick said he was "disturbed with some of the inconsistencies" in Hannah's story, but he believes she is the victim.

I don't want to think Hannah had anything to do with this. Nowdays, ya just never know. I sure as hell hope she didn't see any of what happened to her mother and brother. All darkness comes to light sooner or later.

CBS 8 has an interesting article. I was shocked the condoms survived the crime scene. Then why would Christina Anderson have a DNA swab kit in her car that was burned at the scene? The latter I found reading the NBC Blog article - the link is below. The DiMaggio family took samples of skin, hair and blood before he was cremated. What a story!

Handwritten note & 'Letters from Hanna' found in DiMaggio's home

SAN DIEGO (CBS 8) -- San Diego Sheriff's detectives found a handwritten note in the burned-out home of James DiMaggio; the man who was shot and killed by FBI agents in Idaho after allegedly kidnapping a Lakeside teenager on August 4.

The content of the note was not revealed in the latest search warrant released Thursday at the request of News 8, and it is unknown if the note is related to the kidnapping of Hannah Anderson, 16.

In an emailed response to News 8, Sheriff's spokesperson Jan Caldwell said, "Many portions of this investigation cannot be discussed. Sorry this is one if them."

Also found in the home were "Letters from Hanna" (sic), apparently written by the teen victim, and which were not detailed in the warrant.

The letters were denoted in the warrant as "D&C Letters from Hanna" (sic), indicating the documents initially were taken by detectives to prove DiMaggio had "dominion and control" (D&C) over the home and property.

The warrant reveals for the first time that Sheriff's bomb and arson investigators believe DiMaggio, 40, used incendiary devices to set two separate fires: one in the main house where the body of Hannah's 8-year-old brother, Ethan Anderson, was discovered; and one in the garage where the body of the children's mother, Christina Anderson, 44, was found under a green tarp.

"There were two distinct and non-contiguous fires," the warrant reads. "Based on this fact, there had to be multiple fire starts and multiple fire starts is a primary indication of the act of arson."

The warrant said several incendiary devices, and an "arson wire" were found at the site.

In addition, a crowbar and blood stains were found next to the body of Christina Anderson.

"It currently appears that the crow bar could be an instrumental weapon used in the homicide," according to Sheriff Detective Troy DuGal, who gave details to a judge in the search warrant's affidavit.

The warrant also contains a nine-page, detailed list of every item taken from DiMaggio's home at 2071 Ross Avenue in Boulevard.

Has anyone heard any news on when the funeral for Christina and Ethan Anderson is? Bless them both!

According to a spokesperson from the Guardian Angel Roman Catholic Church in Santee today, funeral services for Christina and Ethan will be held at the church on Saturday, August 24 at 11 a.m.

Church spokesperson Patti Myers says she has been in contact with the Anderson family and, as of right now, the service will be open to the public. That could, however, change based on family wishes, Myers told NBC 7.

Hannah Anderson and her father attended a fundraiser for Hannah at Boll Weevil's restaurant today. Press was invited by the event organizers and took photos outside, but weren't allowed in. There some are private pics that were released and published; more pics from the event at link below.

News is reporting today that DiMaggio left $112k to Hannah's paternal grandmother, Bernice Anderson, instead of to his sister.

Bernice Anderson was the beneficiary of his life insurance policy.

I guess if DiMaggio was as close as a brother to Hannah's dad, he might have viewed Bernice as a mother.

The DNA swab was from LE.

Ed. note: NBC 7 News initially reported on a DNA test kit listed among the evidence removed from Christina Anderson's vehicle on the search warrant documents. A sheriff's department spokesperson clarified the contents of the list explaining the DNA test kit was used by investigators and not found in the vehicle.

Brett Anderson must have gotten a helluva surprize when DiMaggio's sister telephoned him about the life insurance policy.

Sara Britt is Christina Anderson's mother and she said Christina was her only child, I cannot imagine what this poor lady is going through.

Sara Britt has to know DiMaggio had Bernice Anderson the paternal grandma down as the beneficiary of his life insurance. Here we are 2 grandma's caught up in a nightmare!
