HANNAH ANDERSON ABDUCTED BY SUSPECTED MURDERER
#81
Taken from 10News.com Christina Anderson & Brett Anderson didn't get married until 2002 the DiMaggio family believe Jim DiMaggio could be the father of both children. What a strange story! Spanswick must be a friend with Hannah to be able to see the disturbing posts on Facebook.

SAN DIEGO - Kidnapping and murder suspect James DiMaggio left behind a dark legacy and a $112,000 life insurance policy to the family of his alleged victims.

Andrew Spanswick, a spokesman for DiMaggio's family, said the money will go to Bernice Anderson, the paternal grandmother of 16-year-old Hannah Anderson and her 8-year-old brother Ethan.

"He expected the grandmother to take care of the two children with the money. He stated he did not want it to go to their parents because they were having marital problems and he didn't trust them with the money on their own," said Spanswick.

According to Spanswick, the DiMaggio family is not contesting the policy, but they do want paternity tests conducted to determine if James DiMaggio is the father of Hannah and Ethan.

"We are requesting DNA samples from Hannah and anything they can get from Ethan. There are rumors Jim was the children's real father. The parents didn't marry until 2002. We think it's strange he left them so much money with no explanation," Spanswick said.

DiMaggio's sister, Lora, was removed as the beneficiary in 2011.

Spanswick said Hannah's recent behavior is also raising suspicion.

"Some things that Hannah is saying on her Facebook doesn't add up so far; her latest posts are disturbing," Spanswick said without elaborating further.

10News asked La Jolla life insurance agent Craig Gussin if DiMaggio's alleged crimes would impact the policy and payout in any way.

"This is a legal document. After the contract is two years old, it's pretty untouchable. They will get the money," said Gussin.

Gussin said if the check and policy is legitimate, a payout to the Andersons could come in 30-45 days.

On Tuesday, San Diego County Sheriff's Department spokeswoman Jan Caldwell said DiMaggio used a timer to set fire to his Boulevard home -- where 44-year-old Christina Anderson and young Ethan were found dead.

Caldwell also said that DiMaggio was spotted on a Border Patrol surveillance camera about 20 hours before his home went up in flames on Aug. 4. He was seen inside his Nissan Versa with Hannah at a westbound highway checkpoint.

Authorities recovered an incendiary device and "arson wire" at DiMaggio's home.

DiMaggio died in a shootout with FBI agents in the Idaho wilderness six days after the fire. Hannah was rescued and returned to California.

On Saturday, Aug. 24, at 11 a.m., a memorial service will be held for Christina and Ethan Anderson at the Guardian Angel Roman Catholic Church (9310 Dalehurst Road, Santee).

The service will be open to the public.

Hannah Anderson will be on NBC To-day show to-morrow morning between 7 & 8 a.m.

DiMaggio's sister Lora is married to Smokey Robinson's son Berry, apparently Berry has even gone camping with DiMaggio.

Here's an excerpt from the article by examiner.com

"Spanswick, a host on KABC Sirius XM's and the owner of KLEAN Treatment Center in West Hollywood stated that he has known DiMaggio for years and he "cares very deeply for people." Spanswick told Morgan that DiMaggio and their mutual friend Berry Robinson, the son of Smokey Robinson, who is married to Laura, DiMaggio's sister, and he would hire a guide to take them on camping trips as they were not outdoor type men."

They showed a bit of Hannah's interview on GMA. She says she is a survivor. Not a victim. And that her mom raised her to be strong. She was very calm. She's me wonder if she is going to have a breakdown when everything settles down.

Hannah Anderson talks briefly about how she's paying tribute to her mom and brother, her on-line presence, her father's and friends' support, her goals, and such on NBC's Today show.

There will be a more extensive interview on NBC Tonight. She reportedly explains the communications between she and DiMaggio the day of the murders/abduction, the letters found in DiMaggio's home, and the allegation that she may be DiMaggio's daughter.

Hannah clarifies that she and DiMaggio texted about pick up times that day; no phone callls were exchanged. She also says that she and DiMaggio exchanged letters a years ago - when she was seeking advice from him because she wasn't getting along with her mom, and that her family considers the DNA paternity test request from DiMaggio's family to be "disgusting".

P.s. interesting about the Smokey Robinson connection, NightOwl.

This is DiMaggio's sister, Lora (DiMaggio) Robinson.

According to warrants, she exchanged an unusually large volume of calls (or texts) with her brother the day that he ambushed the Anderson family.

Hannah does look a bit like a younger version of Lora, IMO, which the family friend and shrink previously stated may explain DiMaggio's different treatment of Hannah as compared to the other Andersons.

The shrink/friend theorized it all traces back to DiMaggio's dad's very similar threats against a girl and her family 20 years ago, and the senior DiMaggio's meth addiction and abuse of his son and daughter.

All along we wonder what was the motive for these senseless murders what happened? & why? Well it could be he got angry with Christina & just went nuts but, I am not sure! all I really know for sure is Christina & Ethan Anderson & their dog were "tricked". At the www.today.com website. Hannah stated the following:-

Hannah revealed that the texts she traded with captor James Lee DiMaggio were to make arrangements with DiMaggio, a family friend, to pick her up from cheerleading camp.

“And he didn’t know the address or what — like, where I was. So I had to tell him the address and tell him that I was gonna be in the gym and not in front of the school,” she said. “Just so he knew where to come get me.”

And she said she exchanged letters a year ago with DiMaggio because she and her mother weren’t getting along and DiMaggio helped her work through the turmoil.

“Me and him would talk about how to deal with it,” she said. “And I’d tell him how I felt about it. And he helped me through it. They weren’t anything bad. They’re just to help me through tough times.”

I find that she has been out talking to so many people, kinda of disturbing. I understand everyone deals with things differently, I get that, but something is off with this case. So many questions come to up, Why did the Mom and Dad divorce? Why was her "fathers" best friend still around, if the father WAS NOT? Did she has a relationship with this man, and the MOM found out?

When she spoke on the forum, the way she worded a lot of the things she said...her mother passing wasn't a main concern of hers.

Has anyone asked the question, is she involved in this at all?

I've seen a lot of people questioning some of what Hannah's said and her demeanor, LytoMe.

Whether she's just detached and traumatized, very strong publicly, or was more involved in what transpired than what she claims, we may never know as the LE investigation is reportedly considered closed.

Lora DiMaggio dropped the request for DNA testing to rule out her brother as the children's father. But, she made it clear in her interview with Piers Morgan yesterday that she thinks Hannah is trouble and that her brother viewed Hannah as a daughter. Lora thinks that her brother may have been a victim of Hannah; giving up his life to protect the teen.

Either Lora's lying, in denial, was manipulated by her brother, or she's on to something - who knows?

In any case, DiMaggio certainly wasn't forced to take Hannah into the Idaho wilderness and he was the adult. He's no innocent good guy; his sister doesn't seem to be very objective at this time.

I watched that interview. I don't know what to think. I thought some of her comments were kinda out there but I do believe her remarks about Hannah being trouble & all tarted up are probably true.

I watched the interview also, I don't know either what to think. Lora has unanswered questions just like many of us IMO. Many of these teens boys and girls are strong willed & defy their parents, some of the behaviour is shocking now a days.

I just did an update search to see what was going on with the case, and this is what came up. I am sure the LE is all over this case, and are being tight lipped about everything.

The letters I am sure are very telling. I am positive this case is FAR from closed. I would be curious to find out what happened at Cheer leading practice, if anything, or was she acting normal. AND how did she get her cat?

Will be interesting to see if anything more officially comes out of this case.

The San Diego Sheriff has been adamant that Hannah Anderson was a victim of DiMaggio in every sense of the word.

FBI and LE have made repeated public statements that the case was basically closed with DiMaggio's death.

Could be that those are statements for public consumption and there's continued investigation going on behind the scenes. I don't think so, but that's just a gut feeling on my part.

IMO, it's more likely that new aspects of the case will be revealed/pursued if Lora or others engage private investigation.

P.s. The cat was reportedly DiMaggio's. He had a lot of cats and the one he took with them, Princess, was one that he rescued after an accident. The DiMaggio family friend who was interviewed figured he took his cat because he was planning on killing himself and Hannah; killing a beloved animal first is not uncommon. LytoMe, I'm sure also the letters would reveal a lot.

Why did Christina and Ethan have to die? then the dog why? I keep wondering why? I'd like to know any prints on the crowbar? The used condoms?

David Braun & Alan Braun are two brothers of Christina Anderson's mother
both were at the funeral, not sure if you read this article, in the article both brothers have a lot of questions. I'll put the link below. People out there want answers.

Did they say the murder investigation was closed? Or just that DiMaggio's death investigation was closed?

Its the minor details and wording that is changed to make people believe they are no longer investigating others.

Interesting about the cat. Then you ask, why only that one? haha SO many unanswered questions. And I do not think that Amanda's information would be credible at this point. I know everyone grieves differently...I still see guilt. The way she speaks about her Mom, and then doesn't cry or SHOW ANY emotion until she talks about her brother. The condoms I BELIEVE ARE between Amanda and Joe. Someone who is rapping someone will not use a condom, that's consensual. IMO

I'm not sure who Amanda is, LyToMe. The person who gave the information about the cat is a male friend of the DiMaggio family.

The FBI has confirmed that they interviewed Hannah after her rescue and determined that she had no idea that her mom and Ethan were dead/murdered until they informed her; case closed there. They may still be investigating other aspects of the case though, IDK.

Hannah Anderson's behavior/demeanor is unusual, to me - whether it means anything in terms of the case, IDK. But, I do agree that and what seems to be an inexplicable and unforeseen change of character/attitude by DiMaggio towards the Anderson family makes for interesting pondering and speculation.

No details released regarding any DNA found on the condoms, the content of the letters, etc... I'm curious too.

I don't believe she was telling them the truth after all I have read today. I found some legal documents, one stating that the mother did not die from the fire. Like Hannah indicated, she said that he brother and mother were burnt alive. Her mother died of blunt force trauma as the autopsy indicated.

So many holes in this picture, have any of you seen the FB page?

GREAT find! https://www.facebook.com/HannahAndersonIsGuilty
