I don't have a problem with breastfeeding when it's done like that...privately. I don't know what it is with the nursing mothers that I've seen in public, every fricken one of them have gone out of their way to call attention to what they are doing and I'm telling you, it is not cute, it is not endearing, there isn't one goddamn thing about it that is attractive.

For all my yelling and screaming about this subject, I was not able to do it publicly because they were so big and it was hard to negotiate the baby and boob. It wouldn't have been discreet and I admire those that can do it, I was not one of them.

I was an F cup size in those days, and the bra that held those juganauts wasn't cheap either to complete the task at hand. It was a special bra that you unclip and BANG you whack it out.

This thread is like the 'changing a diaper' thread. It's a natural, necessary occurrence and inappropriate in certain situations to me. I have no problem with a woman breastfeeding on like, a park bench or at a bus stop. Walking around Starbucks? Waiting in line at the bank? It's uncouth. Legal or not, it's not classy. At a bar? Why is this even a debate? I feel like social services should be called just for having your baby with you out drinking.
