i love that she is ordered to get a job. i guess jose or mason are going to have to hire her. hah

the rules:

It would be great if she does violate.

I sure as hell hope she can abide by the terms of her probation. Good Luck with that.

They probably would hire her to be their nanny or dick bopper, huh? hah

Can Ms. Anthony be mandated to serve the full year's probation in Orlando or will she have the option of fulfilling her probation terms in another jurisdiction?

I recall Billie Dunn getting probation in Colorado City for lying to police. She moved before the hearing and was allowed to do her probation near Austin. Just wondering if anyone on probation can move or if it's case specific.

They can petition the court to have their probation moved to another place, the court does not have to allow it.

They can be required to serve their probation in the county where the crime occured. What's curious about this circumstance is generally probation is served in lieu of jail, she has served her complete jail sentence so I'm not sure what a violation would do, they can't threated her with serving the rest of her time in jail, unless they cause her to serve her probation time in jail which was what this whole thing was about.

it's at this point kinda stupid IMO.

If the court allows the move, doesn't the proposed new jurisdiction need to agree to accept the probationer?

Or can one jurisdiction just dump these folks on others, in Florida?

She screwed up by not establishing a residence, If she lives in the other jurisdiction it makes it easier, but in reality the other jurisdiction can say no to her, but it doesn't happen that way alot although for her it could, much like singleton was denied residence in several states on his release.

Thanks Dick. I hope she gets stuck in Orlando. I'd rather see her in prison, but trapped and monitored in Orlando is better than nothing.

Casey Anthony's parents to appear on Dr. Phil show

ORLANDO (AP) --

The parents of the Florida mother who was acquitted in July of killing her 2-year-old daughter are set to appear on the "Dr. Phil" television show next month.

George and Cindy Anthony's interview with Dr. Phil McGraw is scheduled to air Sept. 12, according to a statement released Monday by the show. The episode will examine the public scrutiny they've faced during and following their daughter's murder trial.

The Anthony's daughter, 25-year-old Casey Anthony, was found not guilty last month of killing her daughter Caylee in the summer of 2008.

The show is not compensating the Anthonys for the interview, according to the release, and is only being asked to donate to a charity organization that has been set up to advocate for the rights of grandparents of missing children.

Who's going to watch such drivel? The master of the obvious interviewing the evaders of truth. How insightful. I'll read comments about it by mock members, but no way I'm tuning in.

The article doesn't state how much Mr. Phil (I won't call him a doctor, because he's not) is contributing to this charitable organization. When the intent to form the bogus organization was announced publicly last month, Mr. Lippman clearly stated that the Anthonys were going to serve as officers and draw salaries ("because they cannot work"). I'll try to find the link, but I know that's what he said because it pissed me off then and it still pissed me off.

So any contribution Mr. Phil makes to their charitable organization does indeed financially benefit the Anthonys. Pitiful leeches, in my opinion...

Please excuse the typos in my post above. I blame the Anthonys for making me see red and being unable to focus. Selfish money grubbers.

Couldn't find the link to the interview where Lippman talks about the Anthonys' salaries, but found the statement on page 113 of this thread (of course LadyCop had posted it already!).

***WFTV-Channel 9’s Mary Nguyen reported that George and Cindy Anthony, Casey’s parents, are setting up a foundation called Caylee’s Fund to focus on grandparents’ rights. Mark Lippman, the couple’s attorney, told WFTV that the Anthonys plan to be the nonprofit’s officers and draw salaries because they are unable to work. Nguyen said the new nonprofit would be separate from the Caylee Marie Anthony Foundation, which will remain active.k about them drawing salaries from their new foundation.

I actually watched Lippman say this, with a relatively straight face, to one of the HLN talking heads. He basically owned HLN for several weeks and I can't search out the video. Watching him spew it was even worse than reading it...

The Anthonys think they can reform their images by answering soft pitch questions by Mr. Phil. Ignorant. The same people who watch Mr. Phil probably comprise the 1% of the population who bought the Anthonys' horseshit in the first place.

the chickens are coming home to roost. nothing will happen, maybe a sanction, but it's nice to see him inconvenienced since he seems to think he's Clarence Darrow. he's still a moron, it was the other 12 morons who let her get away with murder, not his litigating "skill".

Orlando Sentinel

August 17, 2011
The Florida Bar told the Orlando Sentinel on Wednesday it is investigating defense attorney Jose Baez again, the latest probe related to Casey Anthony's probation issue.

At issue: Anthony pleaded guilty to 13 charges in a check fraud case in January 2010. Judge Stan Strickland sentenced her to time-served in jail, and a year of probation after her jail release.

But last month, when Anthony was acquitted of murder and released from the Orange County Jail, she wasn't put on probation. The Department of Corrections said Anthony served that probation in jail while she was awaiting the murder trial.

Anthony's defense team objected, and Perry heard arguments from attorneys earlier this month.

Perry asked the defense team if they knew Anthony was serving her probation while she was in jail. One of Anthony's attorneys admitted that they did, but didn't think it was their burden to notify the court.

In that order, Perry took up the issue with the attorneys too, saying that, "the failure to abide by that order and the failure to notify the court of a known scrivener's error in the order may be a violation of an attorney's duty of candor."

"No attorney should conduct himself or herself in a way that impedes an order of the court. ... Our system of justice should never be in the position of rewarding someone who willfully hides the ball."

A spokeswoman with the Bar said no other information about the investigation into Baez is public.

It's unclear if the Bar initiated the inquiry on its own, or if someone filed a complaint against Baez.

Baez did not respond to requests for comment.

Baez has been the target of several other Bar inquires since taking on Anthony's case in the summer of 2008.

*The Bar confirmed a separate complaint against Baez in early February. Specific details about that complaint have not been released.

hahahahaha ask me if i feel sorry for any of these certifiable morons.

People mag rag:

They knew it would be a controversial decision: to acquit Casey Anthony of murder charges in the death of her 2-year-old daughter, Caylee.

What they didn't expect was the public outrage that would follow.

The Casey Anthony jurors have been barred from restaurants, shunned by family members, and vilified online. One even quit her job and moved out of Florida, for fear of the backlash.

One male juror consented to speak with PEOPLE under the condition of complete anonymity.

"We tried very hard to separate our emotions from the evidence," he says. "Generally, none of us liked Casey Anthony at all. She seems like a horrible person."

Now that the trial is over, life "has been a nightmare," says the juror. 2hiding

"I live in fear that someone will find me. I Google my name every day to see if anyone has figured out who I am. The few people that do know haven't said anything, but one of my friends told me that his wife forbid him to talk to me. My own sister cussed me out. It has ruined my life."

and they didn't get the tons of $$$$ they hoped for either.
