Kids are learning about sex, and everything that goes along with it, much earlier today than a generation or two ago. They are armed with devices that can search literally any snippet of information across the globe, instantly. Along with that seems to be a level of forwardness (brashness, openness, diluted inhibition, whatever you want to call it) that never existed when I was a kid. When I was 15, there were probably one or two female teachers that I daydreamed of some salacious liaisons with, but I wouldn't have dared act on them. He's Eric Beasley, 24. Beasley taught 9^th grade biology at a Florida Christian school and was caught by police having sex with his 14-year-old female student in his car -- then admitted to having sex with her on different occasions over the last 2 months.

He's fired, out on $92k bond, and charged with 9 counts of sexual battery by a custodian.

He wasn't. He's being labeled one of the most prolific pedophiles known to date.

He was an immensely popular and respected teacher in international private schools, William Vahey.

Over the course of four decades, he worked at several schools across the globe and molested an estimated 90 boys.

He was busted in the US when he was younger, but that was way back when sex crimes weren't so vigorously pursued and punished -- so he was allowed to work as a teacher despite his conviction.

Vahey's victims didn't even know they'd been molested because he took them in groups on exotic trips, drugged their cookies and milk before they went to sleep, then molested them and filmed it.

Vahey was only caught because he was teaching in Nicaragua and his maid stole from him -- including a disk drive, which featured videos of the boys being molested by Vahey. The maid eventually turned the videos over to the head of the school where Vahey was working. Many of Vahey's former students (and their parents) have told LE that they do not want to know if they're on the tapes.

In the end, Vahey tried to commit suicide after he was robbed. He failed and told everyone he'd suffered a spider bite. When, in March 2014, he was exposed by the maid and forced to resign, he fled to the US where he stabbed himself to death in a Minnesota hotel room after writing a letter of apology to his wife and children.

Sheriff's deputies arrested Derrick Nesby ^, 37, on Wednesday, May 28 at H.L. Bourgeois High School in Terrebonne Parish (LA), the school where he teaches.

Investigators say a school resource officer was the first to receive a complaint that Nesby and the 16-year-old were involved, reports the station.

"We continued our investigation where we established more evidence that something did happen, and at that point we got a warrant for his arrest," Terrebonne Parish Sheriff's Chief of Detectives Malcolm Wolfe said.

It was during the investigation that detectives learned Nesby has HIV, reports the station. Deputies say that despite knowing he had HIV, Nesby exposed the student to the virus without the teen's knowledge.

Nesby is charged with felony carnal knowledge of a juvenile and intentional exposure of the AIDS virus. However, Nesby denies all the allegations.

Nesby, who had been employed at the school for a year and also coached track, is being held on a one million dollar bond.

A million dollar bond? That's really high. A woman here caused an accident driving recklessly and killed another lady. The same woman had cause an accident 2 years ago and killed a man. Her bond is only $300k for killing two people. She was FTA on the first accident. She also hasn't had a license since 2009.

Arrested is one thing, but convicted or pleading guilty to a lesser charge should get a HUGE minimum sentence like 25 years for any teacher who does this shit. Some jerkoff in the next town from me got caught with a student who was 17 at the time and when the allegations came out he told her to lie. He got popped for the sex charge and hindering a witness which was a higher charge than the act. Something wrong with that I think. He plead the whole thing down and got probation but he is a registered sex offender for life. He should have gotten some jail time.

It's definitely frustrating when an adult in authority gets only a slap on the wrist for breaking the law and violating a minor(s).

Stacey Rambold ^ pleaded guilty last year to a single count of sexual intercourse without consent. Rambold was 47 years old at the time. The girl, a 14-year-old student in Rambold's class at Billings Senior High School, committed suicide while the case was pending trial.

Montana District Judge G. Todd Baugh sentenced Ramboldt to 15 years, BUT unbelievably only one-month of it in prison and the remainder suspended and on probation (he was also required to register as a sex offender). The judge considered the 14-year-old partly to blame.

UPDATE
Fortunately, after prosecutors from the state Department of Justice appealed Baugh's sentencing decision, the high court ruled unanimously in April that Rambold's original sentence was illegal under a state law that says he should have served a minimum of two years. Rambold's attorneys appealed and claim he already serviced his sentence -- one month.

Good news today -- the Montana Supreme Court denied Rambold's appeal -- he's gonna do at least two years and maybe significantly more. He will be re-sentenced by another judge (Judge Baugh is facing disciplinary action and will retire next year).

A New Jersey high school teacher has been arrested on accusations of sexually assaulting three 15-year-old boys in her car and at the school where she taught.

Mother-of-two Nicole Dufault, 34, is charged with several counts of aggravated sexual assault and endangering the welfare of a child, NJ.com reported.

Prosecutors in Essex County say that Dufault, who taught language arts at Columbia High School for nine years, assaulted the boys during the regular academic year and summer school between 2013-2014.

The encounters allegedly took place in the teacher's car and the school's campus in Maplewood, New Jersey, and included oral sex and intercourse, authorities charge.
