The fathers story was that the kid ran up ahead of him and dissapeared. Even if a cat got him and dragged him away, how would there be no blood or evidence whatsoever? The father killed him and was smarter about it than most is my guess.

Personally I think a cat got him. I don't think the adults that were there did it because 4 people can't keep a secret this long, their stories never changed. Its long, but I had to watch it all.

Wow Maggot. Just get Youtube already! What are you waiting for?!
If a cat dragged a child away wouldn't that make some sound from the kid or the cat? Unless the cat killed the kid right away. But still-as Sally said there should be some evidence then-clothing, things the cat didn't eat.

No, not necessarily. Cats are stealth hunters and are very good at what thy do. A big cat that jumped on on a kid would likely not make any noise and the kid would be killed in seconds. The cat will take its victim by the neck, breaking it immediately. As far as leaving blood or clothing, the video talked about 2 other kids they are fairly certain that were taken by a cat, the only clues were found over 500 feet away up hill. A cat will go to a hide, higher ground if its available, deep brush if not.

This poor child has not been found. Very unnerving and sad.

I still think about the little boy from Oregon who has never been found. His stepmother was the last to see him.

New Video out with the sheriff
They will never find this little dude, I am positive a cat or bear got him.

The 2nd detective agency hired by the parents says they lied about the boy being with them at the store shortly before he went missing, which suggests that he was never at the campsite. If they lied about that, they're responsible for whatever happened to him. She looks like she has serious mental illness, so he may have died due to neglect, but whatever the case may be, I think they know full well what happened to him.

Interesting that you say that when the sheriff in the video said he didn't think so. I wonder what makes you think that.
The reason I don't think it was an animal is because no remains of any sort have been found. Even cougars and bears leave behind bones. At the least a piece of clothing would be found or some small item. I think we already had this discussion in this thread.
I also think there would have been a lot of noise from such an attack. Maybe no one was around to hear it-but a 2 year old would have likely been screaming or crying out. People say, "No, a cat could have bit through him right away and there would be no sound" but again, some article of clothing should have been left behind at some point if even in some scat.
I have some doubts about the family myself.

It's a shame that the parents weren't questioned by someone with a background in criminal psychology.

I'm pretty sure the parents did it.

I felt apprehensive when I saw this thread was updated.
These stories are always so awful. I still think about the little boy in Oregon. His stepmother was the last person to see him. It was so long ago now.
