I think he's the all-around player, and I hope he proves it at the NFL level.
It's funny, I ate up every piece of media I could find on the kid before the draft, and all that the PE.com guys said about him before was "lot of drops" and fluff him off. Now they and every other Philly media outlet is all over the kid more than our first round pick. It's cool tho, the dudes in the Mock Draft section gave me props for calling him as a target when the media was falling all over Cody Latimer as a first round potential pick for the Eagles.

I remember that & that's why I think of you whenever I see his name mentioned. I wouldn't have known anything about him had it not been for some of your comments I read.
These are the things I was talking about last week. The RB's are using them during OTA's.

Someone gifted me with a gift card & a link to buy four tickets to the Eagles/Steelers pre-season game. 50 yard line, section 201. I've asked 5 people and got 4 noes and 1 maybe. I don't want to ask any men, I want my girlfriends to say yes. Fuckin' bitches.

82 days until kickoff. 82 DAYS!
Receipt from Lane Johnson's rookie dinner. Those bitches can eat!
I'm interested in everything these guys do. If I creeped on them any more than I do, I'd be under arrest. The next time I'm up in Philly I intend to eat at Brent Celek's restaurant (Prime Stache).

I have an update on that post & it's funny!
When Lane Johnson, a Philadelphia Eagles second-year offensive lineman, treated a group of his fellow players to dinner recently at New York City’s Del Frisco’s Steak House, the guys racked up a bill totaling a jaw-dropping $17, 747.86. Impressed — or possibly shocked — by the massive check, Johnson Tweeted a photo of his receipt.
Not to be outdone by a relative newbie, a few days later veteran Eagles offensive guard Evan Mathis Tweeted a closeup of his own Del Frisco’s receipt: a whopping $64,055.76. It made Johnson’s bill look like chump change. The caption read: “Teaching rookies a lesson.”
On Friday morning, after a few good laughs—by then the photo had gone viral and the world was outraged at the players’ gluttony—Mathis posted another photo of his colossal bill, which proved it was clearly a fake and taken in his kitchen, not at the restaurant. The receipt had been printed on 8½ by 11 computer paper; the “restaurant” table was tiny, and Mathis’ stainless steel refrigerator was visible in the background.

SI has the Eagles ranked at 6th in the league with the usual suspects leading the pack of 5. I can live with that.

I'm not familiar with him but I did see him praising Nick's skills. Shoot. Now I can't read too much into that.
I also read recently that other teams should make sure they have their oxygen tanks when they go up against us. YeeHaw! Can hardly wait. They are moving even faster than last year. Just thinking about it makes my heart race. I am so psyched for this upcoming season.

Did you see BG headbangin in that vid?
Technically, I think Musgrave was just an offensive assistant in 98, although he was acting as more, the official OC was Dana Bible (who did the one year stint as NFL OC and then went back to and stayed in college coaching). The QB coach was Sean Payton.
Since then, Musgrave has had some decent positions, including QB coach with the Falcons at the beginning of Matt Ryan's career, but some pretty lackluster OC jobs. As long as he doesn't screw up Foles, he should be fine. Foles' biggest flaws imo are arm-strength and getting the ball out quick sometimes. Arm can only be developed so much, and the other just comes from experience. I think Foles' decision making is already very high, which is one of the biggest questions of a qb.
If you ever wanna look at Eagles coaches just for fun, look at that 97-99 stretch tho. Payton(Saints HC), Gruden(Raiders/Buc HC), John Harbaugh(Ravens HC), Brad Childress (Minn HC), Leslie Frazier (Minn HC), Ron Rivera(Panthers HC), Steve Spagnuolo(Rams HC), Pat Shurmur (Clev HC), David Culley (KC assistant HC).
And of course... Andy Reid and Jim Johnson.

I've been seeing quite a few sports writers saying that Nick's awesome season last year was a fluke. Can an almost full season even be considered a fluke? Maybe I just need to stop reading and wait for the games because now I'm concerned about our QB coach.
