I just read today as well that Hall Of Famer Jim Kelly (Bills QB), has had a cancer recurrence and is not doing well.

His daughter tweeted out a pic of her and Jim in the hospital over the weekend.

Brought a tear to my eye.

Good luck Jim.

Hard day up these parts. Hard to feel sorry for a dude who dies a 95 - year - old billionaire, but Kelly has had the worst frigging luck for a guy who once stood at the top of the game. Can a fella catch a break? Jeez.
Thank god I am oblivious to the opinions of others while caught in the blinding splendor of my own cleverness.

^ I've usually been a Vikes homer most of my life, but there've been a handful of opposing QB's that I've always admired for their toughness and ability to lead their teams to victory.

Steve Young, Jim Kelly and Brett Favre just to name a few.

The Bills were the first NFL team I was a fan of. I lost a Super Bowl bet and had to walk around for a day wearing "I'm a loser just like the Buffalo Bills".

Buffalo Bills and Minnesota Vikings.

Distinguished losers.

Both 0-4 in Super Bowl history.
