^ Doesn't feel like its all in good fun.
I recognize that tone when my wife addresses me from time to time.
Fun is the last thing on her mind (with me at least).
Anyway, you are enjoying a 1-0 series lead, and I think the Thunder will be hard-pressed to win 2 games in this series.
But, I like the fact that you're a sports enthusiast, so I'm banking on Durant, Westbrook & a lot of lucky bounces.

Whew -- got it! Thanks so much for the reminder, MS -- right in the nick of time. I was just about to throw on my serious hat and up the wager to include the deed to my house, along with the business. Pics of you in the serious hat?

Trust me, MS, a post-bet on an NBA play-off game is not serious business to me.
But, it's good to get all into it -- part of the FUN.
SEE YOU COURT-SIDE TOMORROW NIGHT, LOSER!! (Pointing out the obvious for MS: <-- that was a mock on your serious insinuation.)
P.s. no matter what your wife's tone, it's either coming from the mouth of a saint or the mouth of a woman who's blinded by love -- after all, she still speaks to you.

Probably a little of both for my wife.
I can't really explain it.
On another note, she and I are going to visit some friends in October who just left the drudgery of MN for Santa Monica, CA.
Just a long weekend, but it'll be fun to get back to CA.

I haven't been to Minnesota, but seems moving to California would be a big cultural change.
Santa Monica is so beautiful. October is a good time to visit -- nice weather and not as packed as the early summer months.
The niece and I are taking a road trip to Southern California in June -- doing the 101⁄1 scenic route. We're leaving very early in the morning and stopping for late lunch at the Santa Monica pier. She's a cheeseburger connoisseur. Pier Burger is awesome if you get a chance to check it out while you're there.
P.s. The Thunder are going down in flames!!!!

I've been to SOCAL in April, June, July & August.
Our past couple of visits have included the June gloom. Yuk.
I've heard autumn is a nice time to go (as you just re-affirmed), so I'm excited.
Our friends just moved because 3M moved him out there. They're older than us, and their kids are through college. They're enjoying the change so far.
MN Is very nice in the summer and fall, but these last two years winter has gone right through April.
We'll have to check out the burger joint. I'd love to make that trip via the PCH someday. The 20 miles I've driven from Santa Monica up through Malibu were spectacular.

Are you watching the Washington / Indiana game, MS?
The Pacers fell apart in the second half of Monday night's game, but they're playing tight tonight.
Great close game. Hibbert's on fire.
I want the Pacers to take the series.

Just watched the end of the WASH-IND game.
I'm actually pulling for the Wizards. They've got 2 exciting young guards in John Wall and Bradley Beal. Their coach, Randy Wittman, coached the TWolves for a couple of years.
I think OKC bounces back tonight. Kevin Durant just named league MVP. Gotta believe this will be a Thunder victory.

Nobody expected the Pacers to win tonight with Hibbert being completely shut out in game 1 -- but they played great ball and made it happen.
The Clippers are favored to win tonight, but as the Pacers proved, those predictions don't mean much -- so many factors in play. Both teams are really solid with a couple of the league's best players. I like the Thunder a lot actually, but I've been rooting for the Clippers for so so so long with so so so few winning seasons, it's great to see them on top now.
Glad to see Kevin Durant awarded league MVP, he deserves it.

I wasn't sure why you felt this way the other day and really not sure after tonight's game. OKC is a great team, especially when pesky effin' Westbrook is on his game.
My neighbor just left -- finally! Too bad I accidentally brought the cats, to which he's highly allergic, upstairs before he could finish watching the game with me, uninvited.
He just happened to drop by tonight (he knows I hate drop-bys), just to ask if the noise from his no-permit add-on deck project was bothering us early in the morning (asshole -- I told him that I assumed that was a rhetorical question and got a big fat grin in return).
So, he just happens to be a basketball fan, who just happens to hate all things and most people L.A. And, he just happened to come over in the middle of the 3 rd quarter blood-bath to ask his considerate neighborly question -- 5 weeks into his little construction project. Bastard was mocking me and my team for the whole duration of his friendly drop by.
See you in L.A. Friday night, MS. I might watch it at the bar!
Your team kicked ass tonight.

An historic meltdown for the Clips last night HotD.
I fully expect them to bounce back and win Game 6 though, which would set up another Game 7 for both clubs in this post-season.
It's been a very interesting series so far.

It has been interesting; lots of big ups and downs -- both in the Clippers/Thunder and Pacers/Wizards series'. Nearly impossible to predict which team will win when the fourth quarter starts, no matter how wide the gap in scores.
I was yelling last night; some cussing too. We had a huge lead with 6 minutes or something like that left in the game and lost by 1! By 1 'effin point. I blame Westbrook (he played great for OKC, but I don't really blame him for our loss). I do however think we'd likely have won the game were it not for the two last questionable foul calls -- I didn't see the fouls -- not even in the mult-angle replays. Them's the breaks, though -- maybe the breaks will work in our favor tomorrow night.

Congratulations, MS.
Hell froze over last night so I'm honoring our bet.
I'm disappointed, but still have the Pacers to root for and have high hopes for the Clippers next year (regardless of who owns the team, which I suspect will still be Sterling).

We each have to post at least three posts per day in that three day period.
Where the hell is HotD?
Time to pay up.
Of course, I'd be willing to consider other forms of payment if you ask really, really nice.

If you'd open your eyes and look up, you'd see I'm right on top of you, MS.
We'll stick to the original terms of the bet, meaning all of my posts will be three sentence or less for the next few days and you're free to perv-post to your heart's content.
I won't welch, so that Net Neutrality - FCC discussion thread that I wanted to start will have to wait a few days unless someone else is interested in starting one.

Right on.
Speaking of perv posts, of the 3 ladies that Duchess posted in today's Boobies thread, which one of those ladies would you say is most similar to you, physically speaking?
I'm only asking because I just beat you in a bet and I'm guessing you're feeling like you'd do/say anything I asked on 'my' day, if you will.
So?

1999, just how fucking old do you think HotD is? You really should just keep your mouth closed when you're around women.
