Can you recall the last time you actually put pen to paper to write a letter?

No, and I do not miss it at all. My brain moves much faster than my hand and my handwriting was always terrible. 2 years of drafting in college helped, but that was a long time ago.
I use a notebook to write the most important details I need and that gets transcribed with whatever else I can remember into my notes for each project. There is a certain romanticism about hand written letters, fine papers and a Good writing instrument, I always liked a good fountain pen, however I was never able to render it justice.

I do calligraphy every so often especially when I get into a woodburn I can only do it for 30-45 min though the gun gets hot and my wrist starts a life of its own. Its been years since I wrote a letter.........wait, I sent my sister something last month and wrote her a letter, almost forgot,

Yes this old timer still writes hand written notes to loved ones, especially on occasion cards. And then on note paper for chit chatting, that's in between notes on occasion cards.
I even still pay most all my bills through snail mail. Only my FL car insurance is paid on line automatically, cause I get a sizable discount doing it that way.

I haven't hand written a letter in ages. I do send cards for birthdays and other occasions that I hand write. A close friend of mine from high school is in a setting where she doesn't have access to her phone or Internet so we will be writing to each other. I will probably type my letters though or she won't be able to read them. I blame my writing on being a lefty.

I always handwrite messages into cards I give, but I don't give many.

Yep, to my credit card company because my printer and fax machine wasn't connecting to the internet. I had to hand write a letter to dispute a charge from the animal removal company that I hired to get the dead rats out of the electrical panel in my RV. They charged $200 extra to my credit card to place traps that I never agreed to. My penmanship is spectacular and the charge was removed.
