ISRAEL VS. PALESTINE...AGAIN
It's being reported today that Bibi has banned Israeli intelligence & security chiefs from meeting with US officials and lawmakers multiple times since the war in Gaza began. Enough! We don't owe him anything!

That's a two-way street.

Geopolitically, Israel has lost this war, and unless it can repair the damage it is not going to survive -- and that includes the US.

It will survive a nuclear attack let alone a "woke" shitstorm.

I don't understand what you mean by using the term woke in regards to this.

It's extremely ignorant to conflate "woke" with human empathy. Extremely ignorant

Assuming "it" can survive a nuclear attack, that "it" will not be Israeli society. Israel would be over and done with, and that's true of any nation in this world.

Rafah

This is the end, there is no place further they can evacuate to.

Bibi bombed a shelter in Rafah. It was filled mostly with women & children who had gone there to shelter. I'm seeing a lot of people talking about the video that has been filmed there, it's footage of body parts and decapitated babies. I have slowed my scroll significantly to try and avoid seeing that stuff.

There's a split in the IDF. 100,000 reservists in Gaza are loyal to Yahu, the main IDF is under the command of Defense minister Yoav Gallant. An Egyptian soldier near the Rafah crossing was shot and killed by IDF forces. Israel is imploding.

Israel only acknowledged it because it's undeniable.

Most of us in here have been pretty vocal in our support of the Palestinian people. I support their desire to have land of their own and I think what Bibi is doing is horrible and probably even war crimes. Having said all that, the protests here are annoying me. The stopping of traffic, the stopping of graduations, shit like this is really fuckin' annoying me. WTF is wrong with me. Ugh.

Hot dogs, apple pie, and convenience. Anything that gets in the way of convenience is seriously annoying.

Good on you for acknowledging it.

I just feel that some of what the protesters are doing is defeating their purpose.

A person older than me said something to the affect of that I must not remember college activism, sit ins, things of that nature. I never experienced any of that so it's really difficult to relate to.

What do you think would be more effective?

Aryeh Neier, co-founder of Human Rights Watch and a Holocaust survivor, has stated he believes Israel is committing genocide. Is he another anti-Semitic, self-hating Jew?

If you're a pro-genocide zio-Nazi, the answer is yes.

I don't think Israel is going to survive what it's done, Duchess. The politics are such that it can't stop what it's doing, much less reverse course. Unfortunately, the US dollar is going to be punished mercilessly for supporting the Israeli genocide, and our politics at present preclude a serious effort to undo the damage. Our prospects are grim right now.

Hyperbole (/haɪˈpɜːrbəli/ ⓘ; adj. hyperbolic /ˌhaɪpərˈbɒlɪk/ ⓘ) is the use of exaggeration as a rhetorical device or figure of speech. In rhetoric, it is also sometimes known as auxesis (literally 'growth'). In poetry and oratory, it emphasizes, evokes strong feelings, and creates strong impressions. As a figure of speech, it is usually not meant to be taken literally.[1][2]
