DPD, I went by the intersection a little while ago. No flowers or anything out yet, but channel 4 was still in the mall parking lot. You can still see some of the debris from the crash. It's a clusterfuck there because the county is working on the streetlight right where it happened. The courthouse parking lot was packed. Been over that way yet today?

I worked a duece car for a little over three years and my younger sister fell victim to a drunk driver so am not ammune to the pain it causes but rather sickened at the lesson not learned by so many so that humor is my only protective mechanism I have left.

Duece car is slang for DUI enforcement. Although I drove plenty of people home who were slightly intoxicated, there were those who literally spilled out of their car door when pulled over.

Three times + the legal limit?

Had one suspect drinking out of the holding cell toilet she was so drunk and yes, the 'water' had a slight yellow tint from the person who had been held there before her.

I saw her again at a DMV hearing five months later and she cleaned up pretty well. Listening to her testify it was a bit pathetic as she still didn't accept personal responsibility, but in her defense she only remembered bits and pieces of the event.
